Calzaghe resume and career path are a joke. Samurai is acting like a hurt baby as usual. It kills him that everyone thinks his idol is a bum so he calls it sewage. He doesn't see that it's totally relevant to talk about it because so many boxing fans are offended by his pathetic career and will not let him live it down in this lifetime.

Is this true or is Marciano really that great?

I'm not sure, that's why i'm asking first.
yeah your right about that one. i remember looking up his opponents on box rec and i was thinking "who the hell are these people" causee their records were garbage. he fought alot of guys who had 3 and 11 records and what not. joe louis was the only big name on his record but it doesnt mean much cause louis was hot. and for calzaghe people get on him for beating on beating one old a shot fighter. you cant say bhop was shot cause he turned around and ****d kelly pavlik. there are alot of fighters who have beaten fighters past their primes so i dont see what the big deal is. people forget he ****d lacy who was in his prime and considered a big threat in the super middleweight divsion at the time. the same goes for mikkel kessler. he beat both of them in a convincing manner and he unified the whole division. isnt that what champions supposed to do? so i really dont understand the hate for calzaghe.

              Rocky Marciano for me.

I'm still somewhat indifferent about Joe. Joey in his prime fought bums and an old Eubank. But he whooped Lacy's, Kessler's and Roy's ass and squeaked by Hopkins. I respect him but at the same time bleh.

all the top guys hopkins beat were from lower weights than the weight hopkins was fighting in at that time and had the worse reputation for pricing himself out of fights. ive seen half an hr broadcasts which highlight this fact in detail.
please dont mention tarver, he fought like a complete bum

jones jr....have u all forgotten how many yrs you abused this guy for avoiding the toughest challenges ? and again pricing himself out of all the biggest fights.

and yet u rip joe calzaghe, a guy from a country smaller than most of your states for not having the money to tempt those two fighters.

if he wanted it he could've just went to the usa and fought jones at lightheavy
instead of having jones go to cardiff and go down in weight
a more logical choice? i think so

I've seem documentaries on how the government was responsible for 911. Doesn't mean it's true, All the guys Hopkins beat were way younger then him too. Why not mention Tarver? He did something Calzaghe never could do. Legitimately beat a great fighter somewhere near his prime, Not on social security.

At least he fought Hopkins and Toney and the top guys at light heavyweight. He could have just got a WBO belt and pretended it was a real title for 10 years. How gay would that be?

Oh I feel so bad for him. He would have been responsible for everything. But since when do the nobodies call the shots in big fights? You don't see Froch, Haye or Hatton pissing and moaning every excuse in the world for not fighting. Then miraculously find a way to get the fight when the good opponents turn 87. GTFO chump, At least you always have Mikkel Kessler, Who'd he beat again?
