Not to be Disrespectful to old skool fighters, did Marciano fight any prime fighters? I know he beat Joe Luis, some guy named Ezzerd? and a couple of other name fighters. But I have heard that Marciano made a name for himself by beating up old shot fighters with names. Kinda like Calzaghe beating up on a old past prime Roy. Is this true or is Marciano really that great?

i dont think calzaghe was overrated....im not a calzaghe fan but we can nitpick every fighter's resume...but the bottomline was the dude retired undefeated...he beat my boy RJJ silly (stil stings when i think of that fight) and be beat Nard...beat the crap out of Lacy (that one hurts almost as much as the roy beating)
