What's interesting is I read a game review and the person said the punch accuracy was very realistic. He said all of his fights he landed around 30-35% of his punches and so did his opponent, the most he ever got was 45%. He said he played with Tommy Hearns and a couple other people (not pacman and hatton) so I'm wondering if the version he played was more true to the final and they addressed that problem since the demo. I have no other idea how else to explain that.

The only issue I've had is with the footwork. Needs to be faster. If they can improve that, it will be almost perfect, to me anyways, and of course the cosmetic issues which they apparently have fixed (fat torso's, etc.).

Also, I think the fighters do react when they are hurt. When stunned, they are wobbly and definitely appear hurt.
The pushing is cool, the only issue is that you can do it over and over and over without the ref doing anything. That **** wouldn't fly in an actual match.

The fighters do react when they are in "stunned" mode, but you can literally land twenty hooks and uppercuts to the head in a row and he'll just stand there and take it like nothing happened unless one of them happens to be a punch in exactly the right spot or a haymaker.

As for the torsos and bodies, they have already started to improve. These pictures were posted by EA on May 12th...

I have a few issues with the demo, that most people on the EA site have addressed:

-Foot speed is sluggish, compared to both real life and to Round 3. The fighters, even Pacquiao, feel like they are in quicksand.

-Head movement is stiff and have very little range of motion. Maybe it's just for these two fighters, and guys like Whitaker and Mayweather will be better in this regard, but in general they feel like they are heavyweights with their slow movement.

-The straight rights (or straight lefts for southpaws) look like they have nothing on them. They just look like arm punches rather than ones that the fighter leans in to. Not only does this look bad, but it also makes it so that you can spam 3 or 4 straights in a row with almost no reload time, which really isn't very true to form. The developers have said that they are working on this and that the demo isn't the latest build of the game, so hopefully they will release some video footage of heavier straight punches.

-Pushing abuse... You can literally push your opponent over and over and over without warning from the ref.

-The headbutt is ridiculous. I wouldn't mind the headbutt if it was a more subtle, and less powerful action, that still had repercussions from the referee.

-Fighters don't react to getting pummeled... pretty self-explanatory. They take ridiculous beatings and every time they got popped their head just goes back a tiny bit and then returns to starting position.

-And the biggest issue... The punch tracking is too magnetic. I landed 85% of my punches in one of the fights, while my opponent landed 66%. Even when you box, the %'s are usually at least 60. They wanted to make it so that people who constantly swayed in the old game would still be able to get hit, but they overdid it a ton. This promotes people who just brawl on the inside, because why even try to actively defend when the punches are likely going to land anyways?

But even with all these issues that are fixable (hopefully), the demo is dope.
Haha yeah I've noticed a lot of people getting very upset.

Good points yeah. I feel the same way about the straight punches, the footwork, and the headbutts.

Hopefully they have been slightly tweaking the game.

Aside from these issues, it is still leaps over FN3 in my eyes. And even if none of the issues were resolved I would have tonnes of gameplay out of this. Still hoping though...

yeah there are some bitches on the EA forums!! But that happens with all EA forums. Check there after any Madden game is released. It's full of cry babies, "OMG, worst game ever!!" etc. etc. etc.

I noticed a lot of people are button pushers and just aren't used to the sticks yet, so their vagina's are extra itchy as a result.

But, there definitely are some things that need improvement, which have already been pointed out.

Also, there is so much more to the game we haven't even got to experience yet - over 50 fighters to choose from, legacy mode is supposedly deep this time around and of course the new CAB features/being able to upload pictures is going to be awesome. Plus it's been revealed we CAN share CABs, so if someone has a perfect Mayweather we can all download that CAB. And of course online play, online tournaments, titles/belts, etc.
