Froch has a way to go to catch up to Joe, and he started pretty late and is very limited so I doubt he will ever be looked upon as serious contender to Calzaghe, legacy-wise

Froch is walking through fire with his fight plan for the next 2 years of fighting EVERYONE at the top of their game.

Wheras Joe, he sat in the pocket of Warren for over a decade before finally coming out when all the decent names had grew old.

Nearly everyone decent Joe fought, retired within a fight or two of him.

Eubanks, Mitchell, Brewer... you can add Hopkins and Jones to that too i bet.

People say Froch nearly lost against Taylor... but he won by KO.

People say Hopkins beat Calzaghe.... but he won by split decision.

Our of those two fights, I'd say Froch won more convincingly !!

And Taylor beat Hopkins clearer than Joe did

Do you think Froch could beat Hopkins?

He had a lot to say about Calzaghe fighting OAPs but on Buncey's show he didn't seem too keen about going in there with the Executioner

I don't think he could beat Hopkins if they let him take a brick in the ring with him.

People need a reality check, he was 10 sec away from losing that fight.
Exactly. He's got a chin, great conditioning, and can ****. Those are his claims to fame. Once he gets into the ring with someone who's as well conditioned as he is, who's a better boxer, and has just as much power, he's toast. He either gets KO'd, or loses a wide decision. Don't get me wrong, I like Froch, great to watch, very exciting, but he's not a top level fighter, not yet. He could become one, if he improves his skills (he has everything else he needs), but lacks that right now.

                lol yeah

Froch's equaliser (his power) is pretty much null against Hopkins with his slippery, awkward defense and titanium chin

i reckon he'd give it a better go than Pavlik though
