Top Rank's Bob Arum has gone on the record about the postponement of Kelly Pavlik's defense of the WBC/WBO middleweight titles. Pavlik was scheduled to face Sergio Mora on June 27 at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City. Last week Top Rank announced that it was postponing the fight because Pavlik needed more time to heal a staph infection that developed in his hand. [details]

Mora is a pointless fight. If he's taking some form of tune-up fight before Abraham at least pick a credible opponent who will give you a bit of a challenge.
