If I'm Arum, knowing Floyd needs Pac. I say look, 60/40 split @ 140. You don't want it,then you go fight a real WW. End of story.

I don't know about you guys but if I run a business, i have 2 guys fighting for a higher salary grade, i'll give it to the guy who's got more earning potential in the future. the guy's who's put my business back in the eye of the public. a guy who is an icon in his home country, and who generates more excitement. Forget the past, these are the top 2 guys i have right now, i'm investing more in the guy who looks like my future, not the guy who's quit on me twice.

But that's just it dude, if the world wants it, and pac is the man, floyd's trying to fight the top dog he should have to sacrifice out of principal. marquez n cotto lose you still got mosley. He doesn't have to many megafight options, but mosley is there. to me its just principle and how i'd do business. i just really believe manny has a greater future earning potential than floyd based on their last few fights. excitement sells, floyd's style doesn't.

Pac gained 1lb from his previous fight, while Oscar severely drained himself to make weight.

Both Hatton and Oscar were damaged goods by the time Pacquiao got to them, which even Freddie Roach has admitted to.

It's time Pacquiao step up to the plate, and fight a real prime fighter, instead of always seeking leftovers and damaged goods.

Legacy is always on a fighters mind as is money , its the negotiators that hash the money side of big fights out , the fighters sit back and let them do what they are paid to do ,, represent them ,,, dont blame the fighter for the money divy they have very little to do with that part .

As far as your other comment goes , Floyd fights at 148 and Pac at 147 and JMM at 144 ,,,, now JMM and Pac fought twice weighing those weights on the night ,, many consider JMM to have beaten Pac ,, now if Floyd comes out and smokes JMM its one hell of a statement in the setting up for Pac vs Floyd ,,,, dont hate so much and try see things for what they are , from both sides !!
