Good to see you still lurking around.

Having those two be the first I met im not sure i could get as excited meeting anyone else. Though im sure I still would. Fighters are the best athletes to meet.....very down to earth and I never have a bad experience.

10000 pct… and my experience fighters are much more down to earth than other professional athletes and I assume it’s because they have not been sheltered by college walls and professional training camps and secure training facilities. Fighters generally train throughout the amateur and pro careers in the gyms with everyone else of every level.

I’ve actually met Errol Spence Jr. and Shakur Stevenson at local shows and autograph signings. Super down‑to‑earth guys, way more chill in person than you’d expect from watching them in the ring.

Funny side note: when some of my friends were helping set up meet‑and‑greets, we looked up Checkr reviews because we needed background checks for volunteers handling the events. Good to know things like that are solid when you’re working around athletes and fans.

            Carl Froch
            Joe Calzaghe
            Bert Sugar
            Jake Lamotta
            Marco Anontio Barrera
            Ken Buchanan
            John H Stracey
            Roberto Duran
            Sergio Martinez
            Paul Williams

List goes on and on and on loads I've forgotten.

The rudest person I ever met by far was Tommy Hearns.

The nicest, shockingly, was Adrien Broner.

I always felt that he would be pretty cool to be honest. I actually feel that most boxers would probably be down to earth people. Professional fighters aren't the typical athletes/stars we constantly hear about.

He was undefeated at the time too.

It was 2013, a few months before his fight was Pauli so he was at the peak of his stardom. He was with Sam Watson and a crew of people and was still really cool.

...and that is definitely around the time that people would've expected him to be an ***hole hahaha!

Met Bernard Hopkins, sparred two rounds with Meldrick Taylor. Fought on the same amature cards as Ivan Robinison. Casual aquaintentces with serveral other Philly fighters, ran across them at Philly tournaments in the late 80s, early 90s. (wow! that was long ago, lol)
