Manny Pacquiao To Retire After October Bout?

It has been mentioned by Pacquiao he has about 2 - 3 fights after the De La Hoya bout. I personally prefer him to not retire and enter politics but its his decision. He has given his fair share for the boxing world and we should respect that. To also make it clear, he isn't retired yet so a battle between Mayweather is still a possibility.Comment

The reason PACMAN retiring coz of politcal ambition. Those
****** POLITICIAN hanging around PACMAN im sure has something to do
with it. The reason PACMAN lost when he first run as a Governor because
he hasnt retired in a boxing world yet, he never publicly announce his retirement that time... Now that he's letting the boxing world of his retirement, filipino might vote for him now as a Congressman.
I thought he,s gonna retired at the year end of 2010. I hope he gives us
this fight before calling it quit.

Manny deserves to retire more than any other fighter currently. Have you guys forgotten how long he's been at the elite level? He hasn't fought as a true elite starting at that level, but he's beaten them regardless. Going way back to his flyweight days, and then moving up, destroying his competition. Only now people are taking notice, but Manny's past accomplishments were just as great back then. I'd totally agree with him if he retires, only if he does, HE BETTER not come back.Comment

Oh ya, all that ducking Mayweather nonsense is a joke. Nobody ducks Floyd. Floyd ducks everyone. Generally the worst fight a fighter will be in with Floyd is getting hit by brittle hands here and there. Expect a marathon run, and to generally hit air. Not that bad of a fight is it? Now going up against Manny, you earn your paycheck, that's for sure, LoL!Comment

Ok, at least that will be after Cotto beats him. BTW I like Manny, I just think that Cotto will stop him.Comment
