Shane Mosley really deserves no credit for beating Magarita

I actually believe that ****m Richardson and Mosley team suspected that Margarito cheated against Cotto and accepted the fight having that in mind. So they gave Margarito time to cheat and put the plaster only to get him red handed.

Had Magarita actually had plaster gloves he would of beaten the **** out of Shame Fraudley but because of Naz the plaster was taken out.

DOnt be fooled, had Cotto fought the same Magarita that Shame Mosley he would of knocked him out in 3 rounds.

i don't know if cotto should be ranked above shane or even if shane should be ranked above cotto but i do know that even if margarito did have plaster in his hands the day he fought shane he would of still loss, margarito barely touched shane

Normally I would tend to agree with you. I would like to point out that Cotto hit Margarito with everything but the kitchen sink and didn't faze him. Plaster may have been on his gloves but not his chin. How do you account for the fact that Cotto NEVER hurt him?

Maybe because Margs shots has been hurting him with the loaded gloves and taking out some pop from his own power bombs. I dunno Its not yet proven that marg has loaded gloves againts cotto.

Regardless of your plaster statement. How many punches did Margarito throw against Mosley? Exactly.

Margarito doubled Cotto's output of punches, to a total of 1000+ punches. Thats why he beat Cotto. Then add that Cotto BLOCKED WITH HIS FACE, no wonder he looked the way he did.

If we are gonna say "because Cotto looked that way and Mosley didn't.. he must have been using plaster against Cotto." then Muhammad Ali used plaster/loaded gloves against Frazier in the 3rd fight. Because 2x before that, Frazier wasn't bloodied like he was in the 3rd.

margarito outlanded cotto? i know cotto outlanded margarito in more rounds than margarito did cotto and to me it did not look like margarito landed more punches than cotto did but margarito did land alot of punches in the 7th round and had cotto hurt, if anything i thought the 7th round was the only decisive round for margarito and the 11th and even in that round it didn't really look like margarito was landin that many punches

he did hit him with a lot, but the punches didn't have full leverage since he was running backwards. plus the broken nose (1st time in his career i believe)

having said that, mosley deserves to be ranked higher than cotto. he may have lost to cotto, but he beat THE man at the moment. can't wait for their rematch

if anyone has boxed or knows boxing like they claim they do then they would obviously know this,when shane was hitting margarito he was steppin into his punches where as cotto was fighting of his back foot

not true. mosley accepted after be fight that he got caught with hard shots, but never gave marg the chance to follow up and hurt him bad. now imagine those hard shots he took + plaster

shane mosley said on friday night fights that even if margarito had the plaster in his hands he would of still lost becuase he was not hitting me
