Mayweather vs De la hoya (#1 Ranked WBC Light Middleweight, 167lbs)
Pacquiao vs De la hoya (non-ranked Welterweight, no title, 145lbs)
Mayweather entered the ring at 147.
Pacquiao entered the ring at 147.
The reason why Forbes busted up DLH is because when he lost the weight his punch resistance was gone, which Roach admitted to in an interview saying old age and weight drain have caught up to him finally which is why he was busted up by Forbes.
btw, i know what roach said. i'm not giving credit to pac for beating de la hoya. i'm not giving credit to floyd either (which is the part that seems to bother you)Comment

since when is fight night weight used for anything? you might as well send a petition to all boxing commissions asking to change the weigh in rules

Why don't you give Floyd credit for beating the WBC #1 ranked Light Middleweight who had a 20lb weight advantage over him with the right to choose the gloves for both fighters and the ring size?Comment

Marquez is only 4lbs smaller than Mayweather on fight night.
If the p4p2 can't handle 4lbs against a fighter who hasn't fought in over 15 months then he shouldn't be on the p4p list.
If 4lbs is too much for the p4p2 to handle than you are admitting that Mayweather is a clear cut above anyone and Pacquiao isn't really the p4p1.
Pacquiao out-weighed Marquez by 4lbs in their fight at 130, he was 145.
Mayweather will be 147lbs.
Marquez will be 143lbs.Comment

Now, if fight night weight wasn't relevant why would..........I don't know........PEOPLE BE CHECKING FOR IT ON FIGHT NIGHT. Fight night weight is relevant because of water weight. Ever heard of fighters DRAINING themselves to MAKE WEIGHT. They don't do that to kicks they do that to FIGHT AT SMALLER WEIGHT CLASSES to get a WEIGHT ADVANTAGE AFTER THE WEIGH IN(most cases). I could of swore this was all rudementary stuff, but you seem to be clueless to the facts. I'm glad to help you in this endeavor though.Comment
