Freddie is right. I don't understand where the Floyd stans are coming from, but it's typical that they would amplify such a small detail and blow things out of proportion. Floyd stans are the ones who are scared. There are no excuses from Roach or Pacquiao, he only said Floyd is a runner who doesn't like to engage, which is true, he's a defense-based fighter.

No way does Manny hurt Floyd. Only thing he could hope to do is throw a billion punches and win it like that. For DLH they had the upper hand knowing that he would be a zombie trying to make 147, that was their strategy. With Hatton they knew he was a terrible boxer and would be easy.

What flaw can you find in Floyd that would give you an ultimate strategy that they need to be able to beat him, or much less even take the fight. Floyd is a better boxer than Manny, he is almost as quick, he probably has more power when he sits down on his punches. Floyd has an iron chin, something manny does not.

I like manny, but lets not get ahead of ourselves. The DLH win brought him into this spotlight really. And if you see the circumstances after the fight its no question why he won that fight. Hatton is questionable still because even though he was not beat at 140 he had shown his durability was in the gutter, pretty much everyone hes fought lately besides malignaggi has rocked him badly.

Now they will only fight Cotto if the fight is below 147, OF COURSE. Who here doesnt know Cotto was weight drained at jr welter and had a bad chin there? So again, they will not fight him unless they know manny will have that edge and cotto will be a zombie in the ring. Same with Mosley, the guy has been at jr middleweight mostly and he can make 147 well, I dont see him making 143 and being ok. Its been 10 years since he has been below 147.

Roach and the other people around Manny are smart that is for sure. They know they have a cash cow on their hands and they know everyone wants a piece. So they get to make the rules.

Manny if I am not mistaken was 148 on fight night with Hatton. That is a pound over the welter limit, why would they ask people like Cotto, Mosley, and Mayweather to come down in weight then? To make them weaker.

I think freddie is luring mayweather into a brawl incase both guys fought. Still I think pbf should win convincingly against jmm. Because if the fight turns into a boring marathon even if mayweather wins, People would rather see pac vs jmm 3 or pac vs cotto even mosely can be put up there.

i dont think pac beats any of the elites including a 3rd match with marquez. his wining streak has ended at this point. pac is just not smart enough in the ring to beat any of the elite fighters in the ring.
