Pacquiao didn't have a bad amateur career though, he was 60-4 as an amateur and was part of the Filipino national amateur team.
marco antonio barrera too, showed a lot of improvement in his elite days...

I`m not a blind idiot with AIDS nor a moron that`s why I totally agree with your thread.

Yeah, Barrera did, not as much as Pacquiao IMO and not fight by fight like Pacquiao is doing but what he did was very impressive as well, switched his style up very well.

Is this true? I read somewhere that he had far less than 60 fights as an amateur, but I'm now guessing this is incorrect.

I think what Barerra did was much more impressive because he never had the natural ability that Pacquiao has.

Pac has improved very much and developed a second hand but it doesn't hurt to be one of the, if not THE fastest guyin the sport.

Yea I know, like WTF was Ricky and Floyd thinking when they said Pacquiao only likes to come forward. Honestly right then I knew Hatton would die.

On the other hand, a lot of physically gifted fighters don't improve because they think their physical gifts will carry them through, Roy Jones is a prime example, Pacquiao strived to improve with his physical gifts.
