Really? I would argue that if you run around the internet nut sucking a guy all day and get butt hurt when people criticize him then you are an idiot.Comment

I've already seen those...
I mean, really, I know you aren't going to sit here and tell me that Castillo didn't have success against Floyd, even if you believe Floyd won both fights. Castillo won quite a few rounds against Mayweather.
So... how did he win those rounds? Is your argument that he outboxed Mayweather from the outside? Castillo showed, in a head-to-head matchup, that he is a better inside fighter than Floyd.
He'd also never been out of South Africa, and his only big win was Cassius Baloyi... it went the distance.
Agree.
It does not matter who you are. I think Whitaker is a better inside fighter than Mayweather. He was the best fighter ive ever seen at fighting in the pocket, and even he had to take some fights to the outside or change his game plan against some people.
I believe Mayweather had trouble with Castillo BECAUSE he tried to fight in the pocket and Castillo was too hot to handle there. The difference between the first and second fight is Mayweather realized this, and he fought from long range/outside. That is why it looked like he was running so much in the second fight, because he did not want to be a stationary target for Castillo, because Castillo was having success on the inside in the first fight.
Mayweather had to take the Jesus Chavez fight to the outside to, because Chavez was putting him under so much pressure inside. He only stopped fighting at long range when Hernandez started to tire and was not putting as much pressure on.Comment

He is a good inside fighter, we can all agree on that.
The fact that he has never been in a true war is a testament to how ****ing good he is on the inside. He fights in a way that wars it up, but his defense is so good, that he stands in front of you, beats you up and gets almost nothing in return.
Incredible.Comment

I dont think anyone has said he cant fight on the inside. I think what people have issue with is people who have this thought process..........Mayweather the best at fighting in the pocket>>>> can fight in the pocket against anyone.Comment

Not at all. Earlier in his career he was very exciting to watch, but I think he got cautious after having his bell rung a couple of times. Close calls can do that to people, seen it in the military many times.
If Marquez's tendency to slug it out gets him KO'd, so be it. I'd rather see the guy let it all hang out and go out on his feet than lose a decision because he was worried about getting caught.
Yea sure...Comment

What ever the excuse maybe. Castillo made life uncomfortable for him on the inside.
