Here is what he accomplished, when you are faced with an old ass washed up fighter, you take him the phuk out. You dont run all night and make him look better than he really was. I told people that Floyd gave us the false illusion of ODLH because Floyd was afraid to mix it up. The same thing with Hatton. You see Manny showed us what you do when you are superior, you dont hug the man till the last round, you dont run from the man and try and hope for a split decision. Great fighters give the people what they came to see, a fight. Not a running match. Manny is a real warrior king. Not at all. Earlier in his career he was very exciting to watch, but I think he got cautious after having his bell rung a couple of times. Close calls can do that to people, seen it in the military many times.


If Marquez's tendency to slug it out gets him KO'd, so be it. I'd rather see the guy let it all hang out and go out on his feet than lose a decision because he was worried about getting caught.
