Paulie Malignaggi was asked if he believed he could beat Manny Pacquiao...

“Now I believe I do. Not before, I’m a lot better boxer now.”
Every boxer believes he has a chance against Pacquiao, and it remains to be seen If Paulie can back up his words.

I also asked Paulie about the scare he had with recent OnThEGRiND BoXiNG RaDIo guest Chris Fernandez in the 6th round of their recent 8 rounder, which was supposed to be a stay busy fight for Malignaggi. Paulie said that Chris had him a little shook up, but he knew that he would make it through the match and win. He went on to call the fight “A glorified sparring match.”

Paulie Malignaggi expressed his desire to do the OnThEGRiND BoXiNG RaDIo show soon at my invite saying he, “Would love to do the show,” and will “Answer any questions fans have” for him.

I use to be a Malignaggi fan untill he got beat by Hatton then pushed Buddy, cryed, complained and in a interview later he said he thought of never fighting again then changed his mind because he has no job skills in anything else and boxing is all he can do..He said he's only here for the money now..What a sore loser..A true champ always keeps their head up..

So, he probably believes it to.

If you're a boxer with no belief you are in big trouble.

                    I don't know why more boxers don't...

If I was Paulie, I would probably be like: "No... I doubt it. The way he has been fighting is beyond anything I've ever seen before."

It would be echoing the way everyone else feels, and he is in no danger of losing a potential fight with Pacquiao by saying this, because there is no potential fight with Pacquiao.

Fighters feel like it's okay to say they would lose against past ATGs, but refuse to say it about current ones? That's silly.
