Same thing with JMM and Mayweather.
exactly, so why do people complain when they are all willing to take the risk?

So, they called Pac out at 147 because that's where they fight.

It's the same with Floyd and people calling him out at 147+

You take a step into the ocean, and the sharks will come after you.

Should Cotto and Shane be fighting Pac? Probably not. Pac weighs in at 148; Shane and Cotto are 10+ over 147.

But it if you are going to fight them, be honorable and fight them when they are healthy.

Freddie/Arum will lure them in with GOLD.
It's hard for a fighter to turn down GOLD.
exactly, so why cry about the weight when mosley and cotto are willing to take the risk?

so we should just get rid of weight divisions right, because what he weighs as he steps into the ring is what size he is and is all important

Because PAC has fought at 147 and I want to see HEALTHY FIGHTERS in there if I'm paying money. I'm not paying for another Oscar vs. Pac fight.

Im glad you put that there mate as it shows what a dumb ass you are , I said what they weigh on fight night is all important when evaluating a fighters true size , I asked you why weight divisions are there and you dont know , do you know how to make weight , what is actually done at what times , although methods vary amongst trainers do you have any clue how its done ? I cant believe the **** you guys come out with about weight with fighters ,,,, I will tell an old saying thats from been around for ever .

What will get you killed in a fight of equals is an ounce in a game**** , a pound in a fighting dog and a stone in a man .

Have a think about it !!!!!!!!!

Paquiao if he fights Cotto it's still WW so the title would be on the line, remeber WW is 141lbs - 147lbs so a fight in 144lbs is still WW

but you KNOW that 147 was a catchweight for pac(135) / dlh(154). So if pac is to fight someone at 147, there would have to be a catchweight as well.

that's fine, then don't pay for it. but stop crying about it because shane/cotto/floyd all have to option to walk away from the fight.

I used to wrestle, I know all about making weight.

what a fighter weighs on fight night is not the end all and be all of a fighter's true size. if pac can get down to 140 and floyd can't that means pac is smaller than floyd.

It's not if Floyd can get down to 140, its if he wants to. He moved up from 130 because he couldn't stand making weight for that last fight against Chavez. I'm not sure if he ever liked it or took full advantage of dehydrating the body and rehydrating it for a fight like others have.
It seems his main concern is to guarantee he shows up healthy and the best way for that is to prevent dehydrating the body for the scales. But I'm not sure.

Interesting though: If Floyd is 146 for Judah and he isn't fighting at 140, that's because he doesn't have 6 pounds of water in his body to drain?

we know the only reason floyd moved up to 147 was to get a fight w/ dlh.

until floyd can get back down to 140, he's a WW.

Nope. You have two belts: JrWW/140 and WW/147.

Neither. Both fights are fair. The size difference is being overstated.
