No i was pissed that oscar was taking on a smaller man and i did see alot of people defending the fight but that isnt my point.

My point was Cotto would be at a disadvantage just like Paq would if they both fight at 144 or 147 in paq's case.

Paq should fight people at 140 while Cotto should stick to 147 because if paq goes to 147 to fight cotto he would lose and cotto wouldnt get any credit from me, Same goes if the fight happens at 144..

Bottom Line: You have a better chance of winning if you show up healthy than you do unhealthy. Losing weight is decreasing your chances. We saw what Cotto looked like below 147. When you move up in weight, you have the option of how much weight you want to put on. Example: Floyd vs. Oscar. Floyd showed up at his usual fighting weight and didn't bulk up to what a JrMW would; let alone a WW that blows up 10+ pounds.

What's the exact weight that Freddie wants Cotto/Shane to come down to?

I thought Freddie wanted Shane to come down to 142 and Shane said no.

So are they giving out different weights for each fighter?

So Team Pacquiao wants the Cotto fight at a weight lower than 147?

Cant say I respect that much.....

There is nothing wrong with Floyd fighting Marquez, but the fact that he walks around pretending that JMM fighting at 144 is the same as JMM at 130 or 135, is alittle weak?

              So cant respect him either.....

Both these men rail on about how great they are and are looking for challenges by taking their respective fights, but on one hand you have Manny asking Cotto who has in the past showed to be a lesser fighter below 147 to get down to 144, and on the other hand Mayweather quibbling over the difference between 143 & 144, tells me that both are trying to get every advantage possible.

it's simple, then tell mosley and cotto to fight each other than bother w/ catchweights. if mosley and cotto agree to fight at catchweights, then that's on them. stop crying about it.

then tell cotto and mosley to fight each other instead of looking to fight a jr. WW. its just that simple.

I agree with this, both men just want to have an advantage. So I think its safe to say that BOTH are ***** moves to some extent.
