Warren Was Surprised By How Quick Hatton Fell

Prior to Ricky Hatton's fight with Manny Pacquiao on May 2, the Manchester star's ex-promoter, Frank Warren, had warned him about taking the fight. Warren felt that Pacquiao was on another level and couldn't see Hatton winning under any circumstance. Warren had a nasty split with Hatton a few years ago. He feels Hatton is past his prime and needs to walk away before it's too late. [details]

He lost in a very frightening manner, but I wouldn't go as far as to say he should retire. If he did I wouldn't blame him though.

As usual, anyone who gets KOed or TKOed by Pacquiao becomes "past his prime"!

I personally think he's got a few more fights in him, I don't think a rematch with Manny should be one of them though lol

          LOL AT WARREN!!!

"I hate to say it but Ricky Hatton’s sickening second-round KO loss against Manny Pacquiao at the weekend was an accident waiting to happen. As I’ve insisted for months, Hatton shouldn’t have taken the fight and was always likely to lose," Warren said in his Sun column.

Like he knew that Amir Khan's KO against Breidis Prescott was an accident waiting to happen.

Not only that Pacquiaos opponents post fight are either weight drained, looked slower, and amatuersish against Pac. Could it be that Pac makes them look old.
