Floyd Mayweather gave Hugman a dose of reality and now he has lost his fight, and has been all talk covering his lack of skill and will to learn.

I wouldn't say it was will to learn, just the fact he can't, i mean in the 24/7 he was learn defence but he just don't use it, he just can't fight with defence!

          This is true.

Thats why i knew Pacquiao would stop him, i predicted to be late though because i knew Hatton would show up in great shape.

Maybe Floyd Sr. has ****ed with his head in training, i just don't think he is himself any more!
Can't blame Mayweather, Sr. for it, he just wasn't good enough to beat Pacquiao or Mayweather... that's it. Roach and Mayweather, Sr. said he wasn't the same since the Mayweather, Jr. loss but I don't think that has much to do with it, he just wasn't on Pacquiao's level and used no defense.

He got worked up with the activity and threw the game plan out of the window... simple as that...

Yeah he just fights how he wants to fight, you heard Floyd Mayweather Sr. say that he didn't listen to word he said in the corner, he went in all trained up with defensive knowledge but he never used it!
He just needs to learn to use defence then he could fight again untill then there is no point!

Hatton is a small fighter with short arms and lacks great 1 punch power. Ricky has NO choice but to fight the way he does with pressure, he'll never be a defensive wizard. His defense was using the clinch when inside and having a good chin. Now that his chin apparently has been broken down from the many wars he was in he has to carefully pick his future opponents should he decide to fight on past his prime.

There's also no shame not being on Pac or Floyd's "level" because nobody else is either and there are some GREAT fighters that tried and also failed on that "level" it's not like there's 20 fighters that great at JWW and WW. Hatton had enough talent that if Pac or Floyd had an off night and he was on, he could easily have pulled off the upset like he did against Tszyu and Castillo! There was a reason Ricky was the underdog in all of those fights and Ricky should get more credit then he does for having MANY great victories over Champions and really good contenders and never losing to a fighter below his talent level like so many boxers do. It takes a GREAT fighter to beat Ricky Hatton, respect!

You never know he might fight on and one day get that number one you never know, no one knows what will happen but he lost two fights and they was against the number 1 p4p fighter, so really you can't say he only has a fan base!
No Hatton is not a great fighter and no-one can take it off him because he never had it, He beat average fighters(Tsyzu was a great win even at 35 but thats it) and he got KO twice against great fighters that doesnt make you great.

No need to cry over your spilled milk, I have an opinion just like you do, I just prefer not to be blinded by hatton doesnt mean i cant voice my opinion and my opinion is Hatton is a good/average fighter who fought people at the right time, The moment he fought people in their prime he got KO twice....You cant milk the Tsyzu win for ever mate sorry.

Am not making an excuse for Hatton, I have alway maintained that Hatton is an average/good popular fighter with a huge fanbase which endure him to the big-names, Cotto is a better fighter than Hatton but he doesnt have the same fanbase that hatton have but cotto is more elite for me than Hatton.

Ricky Hatton always looks like that at weight ins. Against Malignaggi he looked like he had AIDs and dominated the fight. It's just that Hatton should not share the ring with great fighters.
