Hatton beat 7 or 8 Champions in a row in 2 weight divisions and 2 of them were top 10 P4P fighters that Ricky beat (Tszyu, Castillo) so Ricky is far from an "average" fighter. Ricky was a great fighter that lost to two of the best fighters of this generation and P4P#1 ranked when he fought them. There's no shame in that, I don't see anybody else beating Pac or Floyd...

beating kostya, vince philips, malignaggi & castillo en-route to a 5 year stronghold of the lineal 140 title with that limited talent? he made the most of what he had...

Look this isnt about pacman, Hatton gets himself into wars with mediocre fighter when he wasnt suppose to pre-Tsyzu.. And Hatton isnt elite for me, He has a big fanbase and thats the only thing elite about him.

Nah he was/is a great fighter and no-one can take that off of him, like it was said he lost 2 fights and when he fought them fights his opponent's was and are the best p4p boxer they was ranked #1, so really he has more than a fan base!
You never know he might fight on and one day get that number one you never know, no one knows what will happen but he lost two fights and they was against the number 1 p4p fighter, so really you can't say he only has a fan base!

You just hate Hatton because you're a biased bitter-Witter fan. Witter was the one who was never elite and also had no fans. Witter had his chance against a VERY beatable Judah and then got smoked by Bradley. That's not Ricky's fault!

Don't you think Ricky Hatton in his last couple of fights looked ill at his weigh in? i can't find the pictures of them but i can remember watching them and thinking he's ill, and he never looks himself when he just gets into the ring any more, i can remember when he was in the ring and was just focused on the fight but yet again recently he has just not been bothered. Maybe Floyd Sr. has ****ed with his head in training, i just don't think he is himself any more!
