I don`t even feel Pac lost to Morales. It was best-of-three and Pac won. What are trilogies for anyway...

Those losses matter. Look at Wlad and Lewis. Everybody points out their losses as they were to poor opponents.

the only loss that matters was the morales fights.

        the 1st 2 don't mean anything.

wlad and lewis lost in their primes. manny was a kid.

no. pac did lose to morales. that's the whole point of this thread.

but if you look at the bigger pic, pac did win twice, by ko nonetheless (nobody kos morales)

the more i think about it, i think pac could nip the top 20 atg list with his accomplishments right now.

4 lineal titles, six weight champion, with wins over morales, barrera, marquez, larios, ledwaba, hatton, de lahoya.... plus HOW he defeated them, its easy to make a case for him IMO.

im pretty sure he's around 20-30 though

Nobody seems to talk about Baldomir's 11 losses and 6 draws before he became lineal champ (for beating exactly 1 good opponent).

            So why pick on Manny?

            He fights, and fights often.....

Lewis avenged his losses. Pac avenged his meaningful ones. He avenged the draw too.

This quantitative view **** sounds like it was inspired by boxrec.

i don't consider pac to be in his prime againts the morales fights. he was pretty much wild back then. never really developed his right hand yet. nevertheless, it was a great win for morales. he knew how to beat pac. and performed excellently.

Morales was a legend too. No shame in losing to a legend especially since he destroyed him the next go around.

ask joe calzaghe the 0 is everything. he has stated many times, he values winning and the 0 at the end of his record more than anything. winning is everything. ask lewis and klitschko, winning is everything. ask manny pacquiao, winning is everything. yes making great fights is important, winning cannot be replaced by making competitive fights, ask mickey ward. He's not an all time great. However, because pac has won almost all of his big fights convincingly, his few losses do not prevent him from being an all time great, which i think he at this point is. would love to see pac fight floyd, marquez, valero, maybe linares eventually, i dont need to see him fight the beasts of welterweight like margarito, cotto, mosley etc

Gayweather thread! cmon, Gayweather should stay retire if many aint a threat for him..... simple as that many can continue his legacy with marquez 3, cotto or mosley..... While Gayweather docked good WW champions fighters when he still the no 1 p4p...SO i guess manny would KO PBF with a body shot

i tried to tell dios dominicano that.

                      i don't mind nuthugging threads.

if he's your favorite fighter go ahead and big him up.

what i hate is whining/complaining threads.
