    Emmanuel Pacquiao ,a quantitative view

Before you guys start thinking Pacquiao is the best of this era you need to check his record.
    Manny has lost 3 fights
2 of those fights he was knocked out
Manny has 2 draws so he's definitely beatable.
Much has been said in the past. Many people called Carlos Baldomir a bum because he had lost so many fights before his good run started. As for Manny his losses and draws didnt happen 10 years ago this is all very recent.
    Look at his loses.
He lost to Morales ,Singsurat and Torecampo. What this means is Manny can be beaten in many ways including knockouts. He has proved there are punches he can not take. His chin has already been tested and given in.His loss to Morales by UD means he can be convincingly beaten.

Let's look at his draws,He drew against Marquez after knocking down Marquez 3 times in the first round. What this means is Marquez did win most of the rounds. What this also means is if someone changes his game plan Manny does not know how to adjust. Now Mayweather is a chameleon in the ring and he will confuse Manny. While I do not want to put anything down against Hatton, had Hatton taken his time and stayed behind his jab thewhole second round Manny would possibly have run out of ideas like he did against Marquez.

Manny has also drawn against Sanchez.THis all means that Manny cant dig deep to get that win if someone comes to fight.
Check Manny's wins. While these are impressive you need to look at his opponents. No disrespect to Hatton and DelaHoya.Everyone is always called a bum after a loss but frankly Delahoya got so many punches from the slower and less powerful Forbes.Hatton was geting his ass whopped by Lazcano and beating Malignaggi proved nothing.Malignaggi was finished by Cotto.Malignaggi was not even impressive against Ndou and has never beaten a B Class fighter in his life.

It might be interesting to you all that the last time Manny faced an undefeated fighter that was in 2000-01.There was nothing special about that fighter. To me Manny will just be like all of Floyd's former opponents. They are hyped up before the fight, when Floyd is done with them excuses come in,'after all Manny weighed 98lbs or we all knew he wasnt good anywhere'.

I`m sad to tell you PBF will never be an ATG above Rocky Marciano if that "0" is all that`s important. And Rocky Marciano is not even top 20.

However, the qualities that put Henry Armstrong at the ATG top 3 have already been equaled by Pacquiao, and is about to be exceeded.

Isnt it strange that Baldomirs losses which happened centuries before he faced Mayweather are always taken into perspective and yet Manny's losses are deemed to be meaningless because they happened long back

ok if you go with that logic. hopkins lost to clinton mitchell. who has a career record of 3-1-1. but you know what it doesnt matter cause he turned out to be an atg. samething with manny. i dont think hes an all time great as far as like top 25 goes but hes slowly making a case to be a legit atg.

okay.. pac's loses are quite insignificant at this point because of what's he's done recently. pac evolved as a fighter, he was pretty much wild in those days.

as for morales, come on. there's no shame in losing to a morales, not really giving excuse for manny but he hasn't really reached his peak yet at that point.

if you compare his loses and what he has done in his carreer, then those losses are insignificant.
