good list i disagree with the Roman Martinez being the top at SFW though. Humberto Soto, Jorge Linares, Klassen, and Antillon are better though.

I will take the winner of Linares-Martinez, if the fight ever gets made. Soto is down the hill. Klassen needs to cut off his SouthAfrican umbilical cord.

CW- Steve Cunningham is being slept on a big way......I feel like the long layoff cost him his title in the Adamek fight.......I feel like he will beat Adamek in rematch......Steve can outbox this guy all day!!

SMW- Kessler is the man in this part of the sport....dont really see anyone skilled enough to beat him at that weight right now IMO.

LW- I think this is the MOST underrated division in boxing......people
talk about the WW division way too much and the lightweights too
less.......Valero, Guzman, Peterson, Prescott, and Moses are just
some of the unbeaten dudes...JMM might be moving up and I see
some good fights in that division to be made......I think Ali Funeka
is a fight away from becoming a star....he just needs the right fight

SFW- Klassen's protected ass has gotta step outside South Africa if he wants to be the man here....I like the southpaw from Cali.... Guerrero is the man here IMO......too bad the head incident stopped him from takin' Yordan's 0 and adding the WBO strap to the case.

BW- I'm going against the grain......King Kong is my dude here!!! Agbeko is a warrior and Vic will find out the hard way...Donaire is the man at any of the next 2 smaller divisions IMO...I wanna see Vic and Donaire do it again........

I saw the Cunningham vs. Adamek the other day, that was a great fight I missed. We need a rematch for sure. I am tired of typing about Kessler, he needs to grab his balls and step in the ring with better opponents, end of the story. Your comments on lightweight are very true. Ha! I wrote the same of Klassen. Agbeko is another fighter I missed, thanks for pointing him out, he deserves to be mentioned.

I like Martinez, but I don't give him an edge at 130 just cuz I think he loses to the guys I mentioned. And I left out Gamboa cuz he's still a work in progress imo. I think he's got a future, but he ain't ready for top level fights yet.

Wladimir Klitschko, how did I forget about him??? Shi-t, the brothers need to fight each other. Vitali is on his way out of the sport. Wladimir is the real number 1, but I like his brother better. I hope Haye makes the fight interresting beyond the pre-fight hype and trash talk.

I'm not sure why Vitaly would be rated higher than his brother. He shouldn't be. I'd say Wladimir is the best in the division but I hold out hope for the Chris Arreola I saw a couple years ago, a big but fit 240lb. warrior capable of boxing and brawling. Hope he doesn't eat that potential away.

Bernard Hopkins may be the best fighter in the division but I'm not sure he's the best light heavy in the division. In fact, I can't even remember the last time he fought a LHW. Plus, he's very inactive. I'd say the winner of tonight's fight has as much a claim, especially if it's Dawson.

About the Klitschko brothers, I fixed it in another post, did not want to edit the original thread. I am not high on Haye, let's see how he does in June. Amen on Chris Arreola's eating disorder... ha! ha! ha!

Dude, Gamboa had like a million amateur fights, how is he not ready??? I know it's not the same, but Gamboa is in another level. It's like Ivan Calderon but with a hard powerful punch. I know his defense is suspect and he has kissed the canvas, then again, his chin isnt the issue if you look at the knockdowns. Most of them is because he gets hits while he is off balance or in a very awkward position due to his agressive offense. So people say all the time he has a glass chin, but if you look closely to his knockdown; it's not the case at all. At all his knockdowns, he is up before 2-3 seconds even go by after he hits the canvas. I think it will take a fighter like JuanMa lopez to bring Gamboa down for a full count.

Tonight Dawson showed he is not the best at LHW. He is good but not clearly the best. His performance was good, but not THAT GOOD. He kinds of faded in the second half, and even hugged like a ***** in the last two rounds, specially during the last minute of the fight. I would had expected that from the older opponent. then again, he had the fight and maybe did not wanted to risk a "Taylor vs. Froch"... Tarver looked old; but showed he can still take a beating like a real man.
