For those of you out there who are tired of the same shi-tty threads about PBF, PAC, JMM, Cotto and all those ******azz "out-of-the-closet-gay-groopies-mafia"... here is some boxing "raw meat" for the true boxing lovers. Let's heat the BBQ, light up the blunt, load the bong, fix a drink, open the beer can and serve yourself a good post about boxing. WHO you got in your TEAM???

HW - Vitali Klitschko 37(36)-2(2)-0 Other than Lewis, he has been the face of HW boxing. He is talented, big and has a hard right punch that will KO anyone. Is true that HW Div has been weak for a while, but until someone beats Vitali again, he is da man to beat. the rest of the division are more or less the same shi-t.

CW- Tomasz Adamek 37(25)-1(0)-0 Almost by default. His only loss was against Chad Dawson. This division is very weak.

LHW - Bernard Hopkins 49(32)-5(0)-1 I know Chad Dawson comes also in the equation, but I would not bet agaisnt BHOP, period. Even in his loss to Calzage, he look good and came out fresh and ready to keep fighting. His career is almost over, but still got enough to be the best in the division. (I am a big fan, so kind of bias in this selection)

SMW - Carl Froch (20)-0(0)-0 I still believe Jermain Taylor is better, but Froch beated his ass fair and square. I had Taylor winning, but a KO is a win, period. Froch step up to the challenge and delivered... he deserves respect as TODAY. Bute has only fight in Canada. Kessler is a chicken. I lost respect for him after he chickened out on Miranda.

MW - Kelly Pavlik 35(31)-1(0)-0 But breathing in his neck is Arthur Abraham. These two need to fight NOW. Why can't this fight just be signed and over with? Paul Williams is in this divison equation. Honorable mention = Sturm. Hot Prospect = JACOBS, two wins in the same week.

LMW - Paul Williams 37(27)-1(0)-0 I think noone will dare to argue this. And far behind PW, Sergio Martinez and Daniel Santos. Kirkland is in jail. Angulo is going to be tested agaisnt Kermit Cintron. I would love to see Julio Cesar Chavez Jr fight Vanes Martirosyan and see who deserves a shot at a tittle.

WW - Miguel Cotto 33(27)-1(1)-0 , Shane Mosley 46(39)-5(0)-0 I flipped a coin and fell on the edge. What can I say??? I change my decision every week with these two. SSM is clear number 1, but Cotto beated him convinsinly. Some say SSM gets the nod over Cotto due to his win by KO agaisnt Margarito. Others changed their opinion of Cotto's loss due to the plaster incident. It's a tie, end of the story. The rest of the WW top 10 is been posted in weekly basis.

LWW - Manny Pacquiao 49(37)-3(2)-2 BY UNANIMOUS DECISION is the POUND for POUND KING. Next!

LW - Juan Manuel Marquez 50(37)-4(0)-1 Today, and I mean Today, he is the man. Guzman, Valero, Diaz, and Khan are the "runner ups". We should have a better big picture of the division by the end of the year.

SFW - Roman Martinez 22(13)-0(0)-1 Rocky! Rocky! Rocky! (ok enough bias comments) Soto, Jorge Linares and Kevin Mitchell are in the mix too. They should fight each other later this year.

FW - Chris John 42(22)-0(0)-2. Chris is the one with most fights and is undefeated, still Gamboa is the future of this division; but not for too long. I don't place Gamboa on top of John for respect to the undisputed FW champ. Luveano and Jorge Solis round up the best of the division.

SBW - Juan Manuel Lopez 25(23)-0(0)-0 By unanimous decision. Caballero is already running up to FW and stepping away from JuanMa's wrath. Molitor is far behind JuanMa. Next year, JuanMa is going to be the best FW. Vazquez and Marquez are taking forced vacations, but should be mentioned when talking about the best boxers at this weight level.

BW - Fernando Montiel 39(29)-2(0)-1 This division is full of "equals"; they are all more or less the same. You may argue for Hozumi Hasegawa, Abner Mares, Eric Morel, and even Cristian Mijares, even though his last 2 loses hurt in the ranks.

FW - Nonito Donaire 21(14)-1(0)-0 The fact that Vic Darchinyan won't fight him again, says a lot. Vic is clearly in the mix for the top of the division. The rest of the boxers are just passing by or just arriving. HOT Prospect = Cesar Seda Jr. (keep an eye on this one)

LFW - Ivan Calderon 32(6)-0(0)-0 This division is loaded, but ironboy still is undefeated and ready to offer boxing clinics any given Saturday. Viloria, Sosa and Solis are the other TOP DAWGS. This divison is very interesting and should be very exciting the rest of the year.
good list i disagree with the Roman Martinez being the top at SFW though. Humberto Soto, Jorge Linares, Klassen, and Antillon are better though.

              HW: K bros own
              CW: I wanna see Adamek-Cunningham 2 dammit!
LHW: Bhop is the man and I wish he'd reconsider and whoop Dawson ass. If he don't do it I want Glen to before Dawson moves down
SMW: Lotta good fights here. Kessler is probably the best, but **** him cuz he don't wanna fight live bodies. Bring on Andrade-Bute 2.
              MW: We need Pavlik-AA already.
JMW: Pwill needs to start runnin **** here. Division is wide open
WW: SSM is the boss, and him against the Cotto-Clottey winner is the fight I want here. If Mr boat buyer rediscovers his heart, him v SSM or Cotto if he beats Clottey are fights I want
JWW: Lotta good fights here. Pac rules and beats everybody here except Mr boat buyer if the actually happens at 140
LW: looks like JMM is gone from here. I want Diaz-Valero
JLW: If he stays there, Soto is my favorite here. Wanna see him v Guerrero or Linares
FW: John seems like the best, but I still want Santiago-Luevano 2.
SBW: We need some more unification here. Izzy is my boy, he needs to come off the shelf. Hope he ain't done. Lopez is kickin ass right now. Wouldn't mind him v Caba before both move up
BW: Can't ****in wait for King Kong v Darch. I think Agbeko wins
SFW: Vic owns, but he's movin up. Don't know who'll take over.
FW: don't see anybody beatin Nonito here if he stays
JFW: Calderon runs ****, and any of the unification fights here would be ****in ill
I know nothin of minimum weight.

HW- Wlad is the best and thats that.....I'm not into that 2 headed champ
mess.......I would also like to see Haye vs Arreola one day.
CW- Steve Cunningham is being slept on a big way......I feel like the long
layoff cost him his title in the Adamek fight.......I feel like he will beat Adamek in rematch......Steve can outbox this guy all day!!
LHW- Chad Dawson is king here.......he has to DOMINATE Tarver tonight...
he cant just win......he has to stop him or pitch a shutout....B-Hop
is my favorite fighter but I'll let young Chad have this division.....it
seems like B-Hop feels the same way since he's been rumored to
fight dudes like Adamek and Froch.
SMW- Kessler is the man in this part of the sport....dont really see anyone
skilled enough to beat him at that weight right now IMO
MW- Abraham is struggling to make this weight and the longer Arum
keeps Kelly away from him the better chance Kelly will fight a
                  drained Abraham.....I still can't pick a Abraham-Pavlik winner yet...
but I hope it gets done sooner than later.
SWW- Paul Williams could own this division if he was tryin' to settle.......
but Paul is floatin' around 160 as well......I like him better as a 154
pounder........I think a strong MW like Abraham or Pavlik could KO
him.......I'm also into the Kirkland dude.......hope he gets past his
                  legal troubles.
WW- Shane Mosley is the reigning King.......I know Cotto holds a W over
him but yall know how it goes......Shane beat the man and Cotto
didnt......so theres no mix up or problems at 147 in my book.....I
think Clottey will step up big time and handle Cotto this summer IMO
Mayweather-Mosley is my dream fight at 147.....I've been wanting
this fight for some 5 years now......still waitin!
LWW- Manny Pacquiao......there's no rival at the moment but if JMM
decides to stay there after his fight with Floyd.....then it will be
interesting to see if Pac and Marquez could get the trilogy done!
I like Bradley and Torres also......I felt like they would've beaten
Hatton to if given the chance.
LW- I think this is the MOST underrated division in boxing......people
talk about the WW division way too much and the lightweights too
less.......Valero, Guzman, Peterson, Prescott, and Moses are just
some of the unbeaten dudes...JMM might be moving up and I see
some good fights in that division to be made......I think Ali Funeka
is a fight away from becoming a star....he just needs the right fight
SFW- Klassen's protected ass has gotta step outside South Africa if he
wants to be the man here....I like the southpaw from Cali.......
Guerrero is the man here IMO......too bad the head incident
stopped him from takin' Yordan's 0 and adding the WBO strap
                  to the case
FW- Chris John vs Yuriorkis Gamboa........make it happen!!!
SBW- Juanma should be the king for a while......I would like to see
him move up and fight Gamboa one day.....wow!!!
BW- I'm going against the grain......King Kong is my dude here!!! Agbeko
is a warrior and Vic will find out the hard way.....
Donaire is the man at any of the next 2 smaller divisions IMO.......I wanna see Vic and Donaire do it again........

no more threads like this.......too much typin' bro.....

Nice list Mafu but took umbrage at a couple things:

                    HW
I'm not sure why Vitaly would be rated higher than his brother. He shouldn't be. I'd say Wladimir is the best in the division but I hold out hope for the Chris Arreola I saw a couple years ago, a big but fit 240lb. warrior capable of boxing and brawling. Hope he doesn't eat that potential away.

                    LHW
Bernard Hopkins may be the best fighter in the division but I'm not sure he's the best light heavy in the division. In fact, I can't even remember the last time he fought a LHW. Plus, he's very inactive. I'd say the winner of tonight's fight has as much a claim, especially if it's Dawson.

Light Heavyweight - Chad Dawson. Very talented fighter, can be entertaining. Very good potential for a long reign at light heavyweight with potential for being a pound for pound boxer within the next couple of years.

Super Middleweight - Mikkel Kessler. One of the best textbook boxers in the game today, great fundamentals. Needs to step up his level of competition though.

Light Middleweight - James Kirkland. Until it's confirmed that he'll have to spend a long time behind bars, this guys has a lot of upside in his career, could become a pretty big draw with his all action, take no prisoners style. Power, speed and underrated defense makes him a very good contender/prospect. (Paul Williams would be here but he seems to be a man without a division right now).

Lightweight - Edwin Valero. A little bit of a risky pick but I think all the raw elements are there to make for a very good fighter and a future pound for pound player, has some glaring flaws but if he can correct them, he can be a major force.

Super Featherweight - Jorge Linares. Another fighter with potential pound for pound status in the next couple of years. Hampered by inactivity but is a very, very well skilled fighter. Chin was a little shaky at 126, need to see it tested at 130.

Bantamweight - Hozumi Hasegawa. Possibly the best fighter at this weight class, very good counterpuncher, seems to have found some additional power in his last 2 fights as they have been surprising blowouts. Would really like to see him against the Darchinyan-Agbeko winner or Cochulito. (The only reason Darchinyan isn't here yet is because he hasn't fought at the weight yet).
Silencers, as expected your list is very good. IMO, Wladimir is the best TODAY. I had only seen a couple of Haye fights. Sooner than later, we will get to know if the hype is for real and if he can back up his trash talk. Chad Dawson seems to be the future of the division and Tonight he should be able to take care of Tarver. Kessler should be the best of his division, but he keeps himself away from fighting other "famous" fighters. It's like he is comfortable sitting were he is at in the rankings. I would love to see him fight Taylor, Miranda, Bute, Dirrell, Green, etc.. plus he chicken out of the Pantera challenge; a big no-no in my boxing scale.

The Kirkland story is not only sad, but pathetic. I hate when atheltes (in all sports) with potential screws up his future for social problems they could had evaded from the start. Gun possesion while already having history was simply irresponsible and ******. Right now, he is out of the equation. Valero is a beast, got great reflexs and skills. Let's see how he steps in the plate when the team is down by 3 runs and bases are loaded with K-Rod pitching. Before saying he is the best, I would like to see Valero beat better opponents.

Linares is a great choice, as I said, I am bias with Rocky Martinez . I believe these two should fight, the winner will clearly be number 1. Hozumi Hasegawa is considered by some the best BW. Then again, I don't feel like there is ONE fighter that stands above the rest in this division. You can basicly roll the dice and fill up the empty blank in this division.

If you will like to keep posting, I will gladly keep discussing this thread with you. (that alos goes for the rest of you who have take time to post in here and are tired of the same bullshi-t PAC vs. PBF)
