Cripes, you like Kessler so much, you mentioned the ****er twice
(Balzsay certainly seems to be on a roll, LOLOLOL)

Viloria will defeat Calderon when the time comes I think.[/SIZE]
Thanks for repping my countryman. So many don't think Brian cuts it yet.

For those of you out there who are tired of the same shi-tty threads about PBF, PAC, JMM, Cotto and all those ******azz "out-of-the-closet-gay-groopies-mafia"... here is some boxing "raw meat" for the true boxing lovers. Let's heat the BBQ, light up the blunt, load the bong, fix a drink, open the beer can and serve yourself a good post about boxing. WHO you got in your TEAM???

HW - Vitali Klitschko 37(36)-2(2)-0 Other than Lewis, he has been the face of HW boxing. He is talented, big and has a hard right punch that will KO anyone. Is true that HW Div has been weak for a while, but until someone beats Vitali again, he is da man to beat. the rest of the division are more or less the same shi-t.

Vitali and Wlad are much better than the rest.

CW- Tomasz Adamek 37(25)-1(0)-0 Almost by default. His only loss was against Chad Dawson. This division is very weak.

Agree about Adamek, but the division is fairly deep - Ross, Drozd, Cunningham, Jones, Huck, etc. Adamek will have a difficult fight in his rematch with Cunningham.

LHW - Bernard Hopkins 49(32)-5(0)-1 I know Chad Dawson comes also in the equation, but I would not bet agaisnt BHOP, period. Even in his loss to Calzage, he look good and came out fresh and ready to keep fighting. His career is almost over, but still got enough to be the best in the division. (I am a big fan, so kind of bias in this selection)

      Agreed.

SMW - Carl Froch (20)-0(0)-0 I still believe Jermain Taylor is better, but Froch beated his ass fair and square. I had Taylor winning, but a KO is a win, period. Froch step up to the challenge and delivered... he deserves respect as TODAY. Bute has only fight in Canada. Kessler is a chicken. I lost respect for him after he chickened out on Miranda.

A number of fighters would defeat Froch - Kessler, Dirrell, Kessler and probably Bika and Balzsay too.

MW - Kelly Pavlik 35(31)-1(0)-0 But breathing in his neck is Arthur Abraham. These two need to fight NOW. Why can't this fight just be signed and over with? Paul Williams is in this divison equation. Honorable mention = Sturm. Hot Prospect = JACOBS, two wins in the same week.

Lots of young talent: Lara, Korobov, Jacobs. Gennady Golovkin is better than Pavlik, if he ever gets the chance to fight him. Abraham cannot remain at 160 because he can't make weight without hurting himself.

LMW - Paul Williams 37(27)-1(0)-0 I think noone will dare to argue this. And far behind PW, Sergio Martinez and Daniel Santos. Kirkland is in jail. Angulo is going to be tested agaisnt Kermit Cintron. I would love to see Julio Cesar Chavez Jr fight Vanes Martirosyan and see who deserves a shot at a tittle.

Paul Williams is the best young boxer in the US.

WW - Miguel Cotto 33(27)-1(1)-0 , Shane Mosley 46(39)-5(0)-0 I flipped a coin and fell on the edge. What can I say??? I change my decision every week with these two. SSM is clear number 1, but Cotto beated him convinsinly. Some say SSM gets the nod over Cotto due to his win by KO agaisnt Margarito. Others changed their opinion of Cotto's loss due to the plaster incident. It's a tie, end of the story. The rest of the WW top 10 is been posted in weekly basis.

      Agreed.

LWW - Manny Pacquiao 49(37)-3(2)-2 BY UNANIMOUS DECISION is the POUND for POUND KING. Next!

      No doubt about it.

LW - Juan Manuel Marquez 50(37)-4(0)-1 Today, and I mean Today, he is the man. Guzman, Valero, Diaz, and Khan are the "runner ups". We should have a better big picture of the division by the end of the year.

The champion at lightweight is JMM.

SFW - Roman Martinez 22(13)-0(0)-1 Rocky! Rocky! Rocky! (ok enough bias comments) Soto, Jorge Linares and Kevin Mitchell are in the mix too. They should fight each other later this year.

Soto is probably the best right now.

FW - Chris John 42(22)-0(0)-2. Chris is the one with most fights and is undefeated, still Gamboa is the future of this division; but not for too long. I don't place Gamboa on top of John for respect to the undisputed FW champ. Luveano and Jorge Solis round up the best of the division.

      Agreed.

SBW - Juan Manuel Lopez 25(23)-0(0)-0 By unanimous decision. Caballero is already running up to FW and stepping away from JuanMa's wrath. Molitor is far behind JuanMa. Next year, JuanMa is going to be the best FW. Vazquez and Marquez are taking forced vacations, but should be mentioned when talking about the best boxers at this weight level.

      Agreed.

BW - Fernando Montiel 39(29)-2(0)-1 This division is full of "equals"; they are all more or less the same. You may argue for Hozumi Hasegawa, Abner Mares, Eric Morel, and even Cristian Mijares, even though his last 2 loses hurt in the ranks.

I like Moreno, Montiel and Mijares. I'm not sure who's the best.

FW - Nonito Donaire 21(14)-1(0)-0 The fact that Vic Darchinyan won't fight him again, says a lot. Vic is clearly in the mix for the top of the division. The rest of the boxers are just passing by or just arriving. HOT Prospect = Cesar Seda Jr. (keep an eye on this one)

Donaire is the best at Flyweight.

LFW - Ivan Calderon 32(6)-0(0)-0 This division is loaded, but ironboy still is undefeated and ready to offer boxing clinics any given Saturday. Viloria, Sosa and Solis are the other TOP DAWGS. This divison is very interesting and should be very exciting the rest of the year.

Viloria will defeat Calderon when the time comes I think..

Good analysis yourself. I did omit a few fighters, specially Korobov, and Golovkin.

Cabarello is moving up. He says he can't make 122 anymore.
I dont' know how winning 4 of the first 5 rounds and winning a couple later is a gift.

Even the American judge had him up 116-112.

only the South African judge cheated in that fight by giving it to Mathebula.

But Caballero is finding it hard to stay at 122 being 5'11 and 33 years old.

Heavyweights - David Haye. He can knock a guy out but he can get knocked out himself, one thing is for sure though, he brings excitement each and every time he fights and has the ability to beat the best, he's vulnerable but that's part of what makes him exciting.

Cruiserweight - Tomasz Adamek. Tough, durable, can take a shot and can give a shot. Entertaining fighter with underrated skills.

Light Heavyweight - Chad Dawson. Very talented fighter, can be entertaining. Very good potential for a long reign at light heavyweight with potential for being a pound for pound boxer within the next couple of years.

Super Middleweight - Mikkel Kessler. One of the best textbook boxers in the game today, great fundamentals. Needs to step up his level of competition though.

Middleweight - Kelly Pavlik. A little one dimensional but is very good at that dimension. Flawed but entertaining, good jab and a good right hand. Would love to see him fight Arthur Abraham

Light Middleweight - James Kirkland. Until it's confirmed that he'll have to spend a long time behind bars, this guys has a lot of upside in his career, could become a pretty big draw with his all action, take no prisoners style. Power, speed and underrated defense makes him a very good contender/prospect. (Paul Williams would be here but he seems to be a man without a division right now).

Welterweight - Shane Mosley. He's oddly been cast as the odd one out even though he beat the best welterweight in the world earlier this year, still has very fast hands and feet at 35 years of age, looked as good as ever in dismantling Antonio Margarito. I'd give him a chance to beat everyone at welterweight. Sugar Shane still has some years left.

Light Welterweight - Manny Pacquiao. Need I say more? Pound for pound number 1. Great fighter, may go down as one of the best of all time. (I know it's a little out there but he really could the way he's going.)

Lightweight - Edwin Valero. A little bit of a risky pick but I think all the raw elements are there to make for a very good fighter and a future pound for pound player, has some glaring flaws but if he can correct them, he can be a major force.

Super Featherweight - Jorge Linares. Another fighter with potential pound for pound status in the next couple of years. Hampered by inactivity but is a very, very well skilled fighter. Chin was a little shaky at 126, need to see it tested at 130.

Featherweight - Chris John. A very good, well rounded fighter. Knows how to use his reach, good counterpuncher, decent power, good boxer, and a high workrate makes him a very tough guy to beat, looks like he has a good chin as well, taking some good shots from Rocky Juarez.

Super Bantamweight - Juan Manuel Lopez. This guy has star potential, exciting boxer/puncher with massive power, a very high workrate and very accurate punching. Chin has yet to be tested and looks a little open when throwing punches but a lot to be excited about with potentially PR's next big star.

Bantamweight - Hozumi Hasegawa. Possibly the best fighter at this weight class, very good counterpuncher, seems to have found some additional power in his last 2 fights as they have been surprising blowouts. Would really like to see him against the Darchinyan-Agbeko winner or Cochulito. (The only reason Darchinyan isn't here yet is because he hasn't fought at the weight yet).

Jr. Bantamweight - Alexander Munoz. Vic Darchinyan leaving the division has created a hole that may not be filled for a while unless Nonito Donaire moves up, that leaves a lot of opportunity for fighters to fill that hole in the meantime. Munoz is a big puncher, not the most skilled but he has the ability to make noise in the division, hasn't been active since losing to Cristian Mijares though.

Flyweights - Nonito Donare. Dynamic boxer/puncher who looks like he has it all. Speed, power, skills. Very big for the weight and is talking about moving up in weight, until he does announce his plans to officially move up though, he's my guy in this division.

Jr. Flyweights - Ivan Calderon. Even at 33 years of age he looks like he still has what it takes to be successful against naturally bigger men, very well skilled boxer, one of the best pure boxers in the sport. Him vs Viloria would be a huge lower weight class fight.

Strawweight - Roman Gonzalez. Looked great in beating highly regarded Yutaka Niida in 4 one sided rounds but has been off the radar since that fight. Very young for a titlist in today's age of boxing at 21 years of age, could have a very long reign here or one division up.
