Honestly, Manny Pacquiao's handspeed is very strange to me.
Me and -Hyperion- were discussing this just the other day.
When you watch videos of Pacquiao shadowboxing without gloves on, he's got some of the fastest hands I've ever seen. It's blazing.
But when you get him in the ring, and you throw gloves on him, he doesn't appear nearly as fast.
Check Zab's handspeed here at 1:49.
That's a leaping uppercut, from way outside of range.
I don't think many people who haven't boxed can really comprehend how hard it is to land a shot like that, let alone, land it as fast as Zab does. The clip starts and ends within the same second.
That type of handspeed is scary.
I really don't think any highlights from the Kostya fight belong in a Zab Judah highlight reel. Any connection whatsoever to the most embarassing KTFO in boxing history should be severed when making a highlight reel.
No one really. Personally, I just look at their types and then who they fight and how the fight. I see them exactly the same. Smaller things look faster so, I understand how people would say pacquiao. They really are the same though, imo. Same exact style, just that Pacquiao is smarter.
Thanks, I made it. And that was nothing more than a shameless ploy to get more views.
But really though, you can see how slow Manny's punches were against Diaz.
Comparing his handspeed with Zab's is absurd IMO, unless you're talking strictly from the viewpoint of combinations.
Mosley was devestating against Margarito, those slow-motion shots are vicious.
Castillo himself has said that he went back after Diego after the 2 knockdowns "overconfident", thinking he had him right where he wanted him.
Then "Chico" nailed him with a bomb that had him out on his feet, you can see in his eyes that he's out when he goes back against the ropes. He was defending on instinct, alone.
Hahaha, Dude, get off the Anti-PAC wagon. Do you realize what you just said. Hmm, I prefer to listen to what David Diaz said after he got demolished by PAC "The f**ker was just too fast"
And here you're saying he looked slow against Diaz(lmao), Diaz out of everyone else in this world would know who the faster one is. Hmm, lets see D. Diaz beat Zab in the amateurs and D. Diaz got his @ss handed to him by PAC.

Bro, I suggest you go to yout*be and type in his name and the word heavybag. I think it might change your perception of PAC w/ vs. w/o gloves.
As far as PAC's handspeed when he's fighting, well, when he's shadowboxing there's no moving target, he doesn't have to worry about getting hit, he's just lettin' it go. So yeah, he's probably slower but that's pretty much all fighters.
I find it funny that you're saying that PAC's hands are slow when he's fighting, yet every fighter that has been on the receiving end of PAC's barrage, well, the videos and interviews after the fights speak for itself.
I think p4p, Zabby is faster and more explosive than Packy. Not by much, but I just remember watching Zabby on USA's Tuesday night fights when he was coming up and I couldnt believe my eyes on how fast that dude was.
Packy's faster now, but prime for prime my vote goes to Zabby.
I don't know how Zab rolls now, because I haven't seen any of his recent fights. Prime for prime?, I would say Zab takes it. He always had blistering hand speed. I would have to watch side by side video to make an accurate comparison, but relying on my recall, I would say Zab has faster hands than Manny.
