Honestly, Manny Pacquiao's handspeed is very strange to me.

Me and -Hyperion- were discussing this just the other day.

When you watch videos of Pacquiao shadowboxing without gloves on, he's got some of the fastest hands I've ever seen. It's blazing.

But when you get him in the ring, and you throw gloves on him, he doesn't appear nearly as fast.

Check Zab's handspeed here at 1:49.

That's a leaping uppercut, from way outside of range.

I don't think many people who haven't boxed can really comprehend how hard it is to land a shot like that, let alone, land it as fast as Zab does. The clip starts and ends within the same second.

That type of handspeed is scary.
The difference is that Judah is a ****** fighter...He justp punches...Pacquiao knows how to set his shots up. This is mostly because Judah doesn't have a very good jab.

A lot of people are picking Pac based on his shadow boxing

However in a fight his handspeed does not seem to be as fast as commonly thought

You're right : Judah's overall skillset is nothing compared to Pacquiao's, and he'll never be the type of fighter Manny is.

But I'd refrain from calling any fight "******".

        Lastly.....

This has absolutely nothing to do with the discussion at hand.

We're talking who has the better handspeed here, not who knows how to set their shots up better. That has nothing to do with handspeed.

Judah is faster with his hands than Pacquiao will ever be.

Look at how slow and sloppy Manny is from 0:38 to 1:23.

I've hardley ever seen Judah throw more than a few shots. Pacquaio throws too many to handle.

          Pacs speed >> Judahs speed

What boxing brain are you talking about? you have to actually measure them in order to know whose faster just like measuring the speed of light. LOL.

When it comes to raw, natural, god given talent and potential : Zab Judah is easily on my list of the top 20 most naturally gifted fighters of all time.

He just wasn't blessed with the intangibles.

And in boxing, sometimes the intangibles will make or break you.

pacquiao was fast in comparison to flyweights and featherweights.

judah was fast in comparison to junior welterweights and welterweights.

                  big difference.

flyweights and featherweights are generally faster than the heavier guys.

zab might look faster in comparison to his opponents but i wouldn't be surprised if manny's handspeed is similar or even better.
