I Just Watched Pac-Hatton Last Night And....

I forgot to add my biggest thing I saw in the fight. The #1 punch for a righty against a Southpaw is the straight right and Floyd has the best straight right in the business. However, I think it will be even bigger against Pac because Im telling you that he seems wide open for it. I could see Floyd landing it 100 times. The thing I noticed was that there plan was to counter Hatton with the right hook everytime he swung because Hatton always drops his hands when he swings, e****ally his left. Floyd doesnt do that. When he throws the straight right, he keeps his left hand up on the side of his face so that counter right hook wont land and Floyd will be catching him all night. Southpaws are vulnerable to it but for some reason he seems super vulnerable to it and I bet thats how Floyd will end it. He will land them all day and when Pac starts figuring it out and keeping his hands up then Floyd will go to his body. I just think that Floyd is the wrong wrong wrong matchup for him in the same exact way that Shane was wrong for Margarito and Pac was wrong for Hatton

you guys are insane if you think that he beats Floyd. If you bet on him then you will go broke. Not only will he lose but he will look like a clown in the process. I use to think that Pac had grown as an all around fighter but he hasnt. He's still basically the same guy and thats why JMM will always give him hell. No way he kills JMM at 140 like people think. He's still pretty sloppy and doesnt have great fundementals. He has good footwork when it comes to doing what he wants to do but his footwork is horrible if you make him do something else. Hatton just played right into his hands. People think that he's so different from the guy that fought JMM but look at who he's fought. He fought Diaz, Oscar, and Hatton. 3 guys with horrible skills at this stage of there career who all were coming right at him with no D.

Its a completely different fight with Floyd. It would be exactly like Pac fighting JMM except Floyd's bigger, stonger, faster, has a much better defense, is taller, and even though the haterz dont want to beleive it, he's actually smarter and is a better pure boxer then JMM. Trust me, Im not a hater. I actually was worried that Pac may give him hell. I thought because Pac was a Southpaw and all this that he may give Floyd real trouble. Ive always said that the only way to beat Floyd is to either be so much bigger then him that all he can do is pot shot or you have to be a Southpaw who catches him. I thought Pac's combo of size, speed, power, and Southpaw style may give Floyd serious trouble. I saw Zab land a few shots early until Floyd figured him out and I saw Chop catch him and land a few shots but guess what? Zab, Chop, and Mitchell are all way way way better pure boxers then Pac. I thought he had grown but he hasnt. Floyd would eat him up and it would be easy. People are insane when they say that Floyd wont want the fight. I bet he wants that fight more then anything because he knows that he will dominate him and I think Roach is even worried about it.

Seriously though, I think not only does Floyd win but he wins easily and makes Pac look like a straight amature. It would be like all the JMM highlights against Pac but Floyd will be doing it non stop all fight because his D is superior to JMM and he's faster and stronger. He'll outclass Pac so bad and then stop him. This will be a mega event and its going to end by a shocking one sided KO with Pac looking like he wasnt even close to being in Floyd's league. He's still sloppy, off balance, and basic with his punches. Theyre so basic and if you think that stuff that works on David Diaz, Hatton, and a zombied Oscar will work on Floyd then you are in for the shock of your life. He'll beat Pac so bad that it will make him darn near legendary in the mainstream. As good as I think that Floyd is, the Pac fight will make him look even better because of there styles and skill level

I agree with EVERYTHING you said.

Pacquiao has nothing but some power and a lot of speed. His boxing ability sucks compared to dozens of boxers.

His last 3 opponents have been perfect matches for his strengths. They come forward, have no defense, and are either shot or drained.

Pac's advantages are speed, workrate & southpaw not to mention he's pretty damn accurate. He'll give floyd trouble simply because he'll make floyd throw more than he normally does. can floyd go 12 throwing twice as many punches as he has in his last x amount of fights? thats the question. i dont see floyd dominating, i can see a close ud, even to pac.

People so overrate the workrate stuff. Floyd always throws more at the lower weights and against guys his own size. Then a defensive fighter will mostly always slow down the work rate of the O from an offensive fighter.

I heard people say how did I get all that from a 2 round destruction and its because I always analyze this stuff. Its like how Roach could pick out all the flaws from a Hatton one sided dominant performance over Paulie. You can see things.

The main thing is Floyd Senior. When Hatton loses then everyone looks at him like he doesnt know what he's talking about but everything he said is actually true. Its not just trash talk. Alot of things Pac does is amaturish but he can get away with it because he's so physicaly gifted and mostly because he's a Southpaw which is a huge advantage in boxing. If he was a righty then JMM wouldve destroyed him in both fights, easily. Again, Im not a Pac hater. Im just telling you what I honestly saw. He's highly highly flawed.

One poster talked about earlier in his career and Im not saying that. He's definatly grown alot and can do more things but his basic fundementals in doing it are flawed. A great pure boxer can make him look bad and thats what JMM has done even though he's out gunned in so many physical catagories. Floyd will do the same x10

YOu have to remember, Roach took PAC on when he was already in his 20's. All he can do is improve on PAC's already strong areas and bring out other strong areas and sharpening them. PAC's biggest improvement to me is, he's actually thinking in the ring now.

And how do you know Floyd is gonna be faster and that his defense/reflexes is gonna be the same, let me remind you, Floyd has been on a near 2 year hiatus. It's possible that Floyd is the same Floyd, or he may have slipped some.

Can u elaborate exactly how flawed he is? Coz all I saw in that fight(especially the knockdowns) were the most picture-perfect punches comparable to anything JMM has ever thrown. I'm talking perfect punches here, ko-of-the-decade type quality...which landed in multiple occasions. Such punches requires timing, placement, power, and balance...yet u say he is amateurish. Maybe he's just damned lucky huh?

The difference is that Roy was always based on physical gifts but Floyd is based on fundementals. Meaning that he can lose some speed and stuff but still be very good because he has those fundementals. RJ doesnt have that. I think Floyd is so far ahead of him that even if he's lost alot that he will still win this fight. Its just about these 2 fighters and the styles. If he lost some stuff then maybe Cotto & Mosley will kill him but Pac wont because he doesnt have those fundementals. Your right about him thinking but he still couldnt out think JMM most of the time and most think Floyd is the smartest guy in the game. If it comes down to that then he's definatly done. I just think that Floyd will be landing alot of shots that will make the crowd say ooh while Pac will be landing grazing stuff at best.
