FLOYD FIRES WARNING SHOT AT PAC (and jmm) !!

what does fighting a credible JWW have to do with the welterweight division?
You know, the same division he was the champion in?
He moved up to fight an aged, part time fighter in DLH, whoopdee doo.
Manny Pacquiao did the same thing, only better.
But yea, lets ignore the fact that Floyd said,
"Mosley? I don't fight sparring partners".
Bottom line, his career extends beyond his two biggest money making fights.
So, no, he doesn't always take the biggest money fights.
But yea, try again and tell me how he faced the best welters.
I'd love to hear it. and spare me the "Baldomir and Judah were the last champions" crap. They weren't the best welters around unless you're going to say those two would beat
Margarito,
Cotto,
Williams,
Mosley.Comment

my argument is that, the guys you are saying he "ducked," he took other fights for more money. period. the baldomir payday was big too, he made nearly more money for that fight, than margo-cotto made put together for their fight. let it go. saying someone "ducks" fighters is one thing, but when he has clearly made more money in the other fights he has chosen, is indisputable.....
"You'll get your shot",
then retires.
How is that not ducking? He said it to the mans face they would meet down the line, and retired when he saw two credible opponents in a great matchup.
"I don't fight sparring partners".
Are you relegating Mosley to a sparring partner now?Comment

What is this "own size" stuff? people act like Floyd didn't come from 130, i mean Marg had all the advantages physically and also campaigned at jr middleweight for a while, and so did Shane, Cotto was offered the fight and he turned it down, Shane was also offered the fight and hn e turned it down so what more do people want?
It's all about big fights now for F
loyd and it just happens that a fight with Jmm and Pac is likely to generate a lot of interest and MONEY, especially
Lthe Pac fight which has the potential to be one of the biggest fights boxing
has ever seen, people are just hating on Floyd because that's what they love to do.

, the guy was a champion who was bigger than Floyd, those are the FACTS, and you can bring up Marg but the guy didn't even have a big name at that stage so of course Floyd was gonna go for the big money fights, you know like Oscar who forced Floyd to guy up to a weight he'd never been at and called all the shots concerning the ring and gloves?, oh no it can't be because Floyd "picks on the smaller men".

he fought a credible JWW......so you're going to stick with your argument that floyd is "scared" to fight WW......while ignoring the fact that he moved up to fight oscar, who had fought as high as middleweight?
let's also ignore the fact floyd had called mosley out in the past too.....he's a credible WW right?
bottom line, dude takes the biggest money fights, c'mon man......
my bad.....i meant floyd fought a credible JMW, in oscar dlh......
case in point, if he'll fight a JMW, he'll fight a WW.....show him the money, that's what he fights for.......Comment

Your posts make no sense. He would make more fighting cotto or PAC. He could fight PAC if he waited 1 day to come back. And you originally stated that he is fighting jmm cuz jmm called him out. So have a number of fighters in floyd's weight class and he didn't fight them for a multitude of reasons. We have already invalidated floyd's claims to having called out all these fighters because those are just words, not actions. All these other fighters fight each other but floyd is never in the mix, yet floyd claims he is the best. = all talk no walk

This debate is about Floyd apparently "picking on smaller guys" is it not? and he proved he could take on a bigger champion in Baldomir at what some consider his best weight which is 147, and oh yes of course you'd mention Baldo's loses, anything to discredit Floyd right?, the guy was a champion who was bigger than Floyd, those are the FACTS, and you can bring up Marg but the guy didn't even have a big name at that stage so of course Floyd was gonna go for the big money fights, you know like Oscar who forced Floyd to guy up to a weight he'd never been at and called all the shots concerning the ring and gloves?, oh no it can't be because Floyd "picks on the smaller men".
are you slightly ******ed?
Do you even understand the reason why I brought up Baldos losses?
Floyds main point in not fighting Tony was because he had 4 losses and apparently no name.
But he chooses to fight a guy 12 losses and even less of a name.
No, its not about discrediting Floyd. I have given him plenty of credit where its due.
But its 2009, not 2003.Comment

Sorry but i knew your post would be a load of bull as soon as i read that line and needless to say my su****ions were confirmed, how on earth do you expect Floyd to take 17 months off and then come back and fight Pac without a warm up? that logic could only make sense to a ******* and Freddy 'the joke' Roach, and once again i'll explain most of the fighters at 147 who called Floyd out are either no name middleweights who have come down i.e (Margo and Williams-though Paul's name is bigger now) or fighters who declined the chance to face him earlier i.e Cotto and Shane, so Floyd chose to get big money fights and quite frankly i don't blame him at all.
