Floyds main point in not fighting Tony was because he had 4 losses and apparently no name.

But he chooses to fight a guy 12 losses and even less of a name.


No, its not about discrediting Floyd. I have given him plenty of credit where its due.

my "money" arguement is in response to the guys on here that say "he ducks" fighters......i don't care about dudes money.....all i'm doing is pointing out the common sense fact that floyd takes the biggest money fights he can get, and that's not "ducking"..........

it'd be different, if he was turning down 6 million dollar fights with cotto and shane, then was taking 4 million dollar fights against other fighters. then you can say he's ducking. but how can you say the man is "ducking" fighters, when he clearly takes fights for MORE money than what cotto/mosley are offering.

when it comes out that he makes more than 8 MILLION for fighting marquez, will it still be said that he "ducked" shane, even though he took a fight for more money than what shane is offering?

Glad to see you are joining in with the same old argument that cannot be proven. What can be proven is who has fought who and at ww, shane cotto margs, cintron, clottey and pwill are fighting. Floyd has fought none of them. He could make more fighting cotto
than jmm. Wws that have called out floyd include margs, pwill, shane and clottey. So many fighters have called out floyd in the past but now he actually takes on up on it.

FYI- I will not argue with u about who called out who. Everyone else fights the best at their weight, floyd doesn't. If he took the biggest money fights he would have waited one day to fight PAC. If he wanted a tune up to challenge himself he should fight shane. Not jmm

Since Marquez is a credible fight according to some here,

how can we expect him to take 17 months off and then come back to face the number 2 pound for pound guy in the world,

the same guy who many feel bested Pacquiao, the number 1 pound for pound guy in the world?

Well anyone with a little knowledge would know Jmm and Pac are two totally different fighters, one is more technical (jmm) the other is an all guns blazing SOUTHPAW (pac) so of course the Pac fight is gonna need more preperation, also it makes sense in terms of building up the fight, Pac is the one on top now apparently so Floyd getting the chance to show the world his skills against Jmm and getting the crown excited about a fight with Pac can only be a good thing.

I have heard el gallo criticize his favorite fighters and even larry said there were some thngs he wished floyd differently. I have not agreed with everything bhop does as well.
