    Dispute it. I dare you.
he fought a credible JWW......so you're going to stick with your argument that floyd is "scared" to fight WW......while ignoring the fact that he moved up to fight oscar, who had fought as high as middleweight?

let's also ignore the fact floyd had called mosley out in the past too.....he's a credible WW right?

bottom line, dude takes the biggest money fights, c'mon man......

Yeah, JMM wanted to fight Floyd... does that mean he should? I remember not too long ago I was arguing with some people on here about Calzaghe fighting Jones. I said Jones called Calzaghe out, and I was jumped on for it.

I can see both sides to the argument. However, I do think Mayweather will be slated in years to come for fighting small guys, just as Hopkins has been slated for getting small guys with big names to move up.

If Miguel Cotto was #2 P4P like Marquez is, Floyd wouldn't do **** about his callout. He'd try to tell us Cotto isn't a draw, or maybe he'd just retire again.

He's taken 2 big money fights and in one of them he eeked out a 1 round decision win against a 35 year old part time fighter.

Not to mention that one of the judges has admited to scoring the last round incorrectly which may have actually given De La Hoya that win.

what does fighting a credible JWW have to do with the welterweight division?

You know, the same division he was the champion in?

He moved up to fight an aged, part time fighter in DLH, whoopdee doo.

Manny Pacquiao did the same thing, only better.

But yea, lets ignore the fact that Floyd said,

"Mosley? I don't fight sparring partners".

Bottom line, his career extends beyond his two biggest money making fights.

So, no, he doesn't always take the biggest money fights.

But yea, try again and tell me how he faced the best welters.
I'd love to hear it. and spare me the "Baldomir and Judah were the last champions" crap. They weren't the best welters around unless you're going to say those two would beat

              Margarito,
              Cotto,
              Williams,
              Mosley.

Maybe it's because all the Mexicans fight at 135 down? Seriously!!

What do Mexicans have to do with anything?

Seeing as Floyd's fans say Manny only fought Oscar because he knew he was old and "shot", let's use the same excuse here, shall we...

I don't know if links are allowed but apparently THIS is the latest interview with Floyd sr which also (surprisingly) features comments from Floyd jr.
What is he trying to say: "I pick on smaller guys because they are the only ones I can beat"

Sounds like an admission of guilt as opposed to a threat.

He is stating the obvious and that's why he won't get the credit that he thinks he deserves for either victory.............tell him to stuff it and fight Cotto instead.
