Who cares what Sulaiman says? This is coming from a guy who just stripped Tim Bradley for NO reason. I had it with the WBC. They make up rules as they go along. I guess it's a bad idea because the WBC isn't making any money in this fight. LOL, That's why Suliaman want Money Mayweather to fight Andre Berto for the WBC title, but he will never say that.

ooooooooohhhh joes suliaman doesnt like the fight. What is he gonna do? fold his arms up & make a sad face?

the guy is powerless. This fight is at a catch weight & does not involve a sanctioning body.

No need for all of that for a championship cherry pick fight title bout.

        Marquez always underestimated

I dont know why it is but there is just still so much racism against us Mexicans and even in boxing you have to discredit us. Marquez is the best fighter in the sport of boxing. I dont think many of you really know about boxing but I can clearly see how Pacquioa has been running from Marquez. Thats why he keeps moving up in weight class. I dont think everyone said the same thing of unbalaced weight and size when pacquioa was going to fight De la Hoya?
Another reason why Pacquioa left the lightweight division is because he knows there was alot of guys that could beat his ass and he wouldn't get that much money for those fights. Anyways my point is that Marquez is the best in boxing right now. Mayweather was never an exciting boxer to watch because all he does is run around the ring and he hugs all the time. Some of you might think thats a strategy but I think thats a littlebitch.

He's undersized, over powered and out matched in almost every category you can think of.

I hate to say this because JMM is one of my favorite fighters all time but I think he was trying to get the rematch with Pac, that didn't go through and he understands he's 36 years old and he wants one last payday.

He's fighting Mayweather to get one last payday IMO, unless Nacho is seeing something I don't, this is a huge missmatch.

To the farter who said Pacquiao is running from Marquez, what has hit your head? Maybe Marquez gave Pacquiao some trouble at 126 and 130, but up at 135 - 147 he's gonna knock out that aging Mex within 2 rounds. Believe me. Pacquiao today is not the Pacquiao that Marquez had fought before. But to his luck, Pacquiao and Roach are considering him this time if he wins over ****y Junior. He's lucky because loads of fighters are waiting on the wings to get their turn and Marquez doesn't have to join the queue if he beats May Jr on July 18. I'm rooting for Marquez in this fight against Mayweather. The only reason why Manny isn't fighting Marquez is because Arum thinks Marquez makes no business sense. Manny isn't ducking him. He's just not in Manny's mind. He was given a chance to avenge his 3 knockdowns but he felt short and was even decked again in round 3. In close fights, it could go either way. And if it goes to the other side, then be man enough to accept it. Come on.

Jose Sulumain doesn't like the fight because he cannot collect a sanctioning fee from it because they are not fighting for the WBC belt. If they were fighting for the WBC title, Sulumain would be singing their praises.

In terms of weight, moving up several weight divisions is nothing new. Mosley jumped from 135 to 147. Bernard Hopkins went from two losses to Jermain Taylor at 160 to 175 where he beat Antonio Tarver. Mayweather went from 130 to 135, fought two fights against Jose Luis Castille, moved up to 140, fought three times and moved up to 147. Roy Jones went from 175 to heavyweight and beat John Ruiz. Years before him, Michael Spinks went from 175 to heavyweight and beat undefeated champion Larry Holmes twice in a row. And, last but not least, Pacquaio fought one fight at 140 before moving up to fight De La Hoya at 147.
