Don't get me wrong : I like my share of warriors as well. Israel Vazquez is a huge favorite of mine. Joe Frazier, obviously. I'm also still a huge "Chico" fan.

Gatti and Ward? Eh, not so much. The fights were alright, I just didn't care for the guys in the ring.

I used to be a big Pacquiao fan, most people don't know that about me.

But his fans are literally bat****. Well, the majority of them, anyway.

Some of them are actually pretty cool (Sparked Cold, and flipside, for instance). But for the most part, yeah, they're bat****.

I know that's no reason to dislike a fighter, and I don't dislike Manny. He's a cool, humble cat who deserves everything he's earned.

I just can't see him beating Floyd anywhere other than in a head to head comparison of popularity.

      I'm not sure.

At that time, Roy was leaps and bounds beyond even "Superman".

****, at that time, "Superman" was wearing Roy Jones Jr. pj's.

some fans can go overboard sometimes... pacquiao's... PBF's... klitschkos... calzaghe's... why single out pac-fans?

if u think PBF is gonna massacre MP, its really ur business my man... but really... the fact that this still hypothetical fight has been regarded as a possibility makes manny even greater... what business does a former flyweight champion who some call one-dimensional slugger have in the ring with the great & slick PBF?

but as i have said earlier, no amount of objectivity in an article or a thread settles the question who wins in this match-up...

          cheers mate...

            Bringer,

you and sin have the same problem...its all good homey...if you dont like the guy then you dont like the guy...i dont know you, and i dont know sin personally but to hear you both squirm as you talk about you dont 'dislike' pacquiao but dont go no further than 2 sentences without mentioning why you do, its all good...no need to front

his fans get on your nerves and that's enough for you not to like the guy...its cool dude and everyone's entitled to their opinion and if you think floyd gatti's PAC then that's on you....

its 2009 son...PAC aint baldomir, judah, gatti, or hatton...if you think floyd can sit there against the ropes and shoulder roll 100 punches a round then i'm down to do an all-points bet wit ya once this fight gets signed

As for "RJJ-Tarver II impact" i won't be surprised if Pac can pull off a "Tarver"
              against Floyd's "Jones"....or maybe Pac's "Jones" on Floyd's "Toney"

I got no problem with Manny, son.

Who could hate on a guy with his story? Dude came from nothing, fought his way up to the top, and became the best in his chosen field : whipping ass.

                He deserves everything he has.

His fans just annoy me, and on a technical level, he doesn't have Mayweather's skills. That's why this prediction is easy for me.

And I'm no Floyd lover, either. Use your search feature, I've talked at length about Floyd in the past, and my problems with him, as well.

Most recently, about how he needs to fight a fucking Welterweight or two in this "comeback" before leaving again.

The fight is just an easy pick for me.

And I'll be more than happy to take your points if and when the fight is official.

But 100K of my points can't be up for grabs : I already promised Lady Fan a 100K bet months ago on this potential fight, if and when it happens.

Why is floyd going to be on the ropes shoulder rolling '100 punches' against a guy he can nail coming, then stepping off?

Oscar de la hoya = Southpaw fighter turned to orthodox aka his right hand is not his power hand.

Ricky Hatton= Doesn't have a single straight right from distance good enough to consistently land on Pac

Mayweather= One of the best right hands of recent years, and if he combines it by moving to his left away from pacquaio's left hand, I doubt how quick pac will be to get off those punches that matter.

How does it make Manny "even greater"?

Actually, how does it effect either guy?

Isn't it only natural for people to want to see the former P4P #1 take on the current P4P#1 when they're so close in size and stature?

I don't see how the possibility of that fight being discussed "makes" anyone involved "even greater".

Secondly, Pac isn't a one dimensional slugger anymore. He's a complete fighter.

He hasn't been that one dimensional lefty since the Morales trilogy,

****, just look at the way he used his right hand on Ricky.

I don't think a Mayweather-Pacquiao fight would end in the annihilation of either guy.
