I think that PACMAN should wait and see who wins the MAYWEATHER/MARQUEZ fight. IF Mayweather wins, PACMAN should fight Mayweather instead of COTTO. IF MARQUEZ wins, PACMAN should fight COTTO. Win or lose against Cotto PACQUIAO can still fight MAYWEATHER or MARQUEZ. Cotto will be a hardess fight for MANNY. I think Manny needs to work on his uppercuts to expose COTTO'S chin. Cotto's chin is his biggest weakness. He got rocked by less skilled fighter, when he got hit in the chin, thats why COTTO always fight with his chin tuck in. Hitting Cotto on the top of his head is not gonna do anything.

OK, God has spoken so now I won't watch the fight and waste my money since the result is known already. Thank you God!

I agree PACMAN has a better chance below 144lbs catchweight. Miguel Cotto will be too big, too much power at 145-147...Come fight night he will be 160 vs pacman at 147-150..

Like I said before, I guess that when a fighter hits P4P#1 status he turns into a ***** and only wants easy fights like Mayweather. If Manny wants to be the man he has to beat the man at his weight, not make him go down to a weight where Cotto won't be at his full potential. He destroyed Oscar at 147 and he fought all the way to 160, so why the excuses?

I don't want Pac fight Cotto yet. Cotto must win against Clottey. Floyd must win against Marquez. If Floyd wins then he will fight Pac. If Pac wins against Floyd then he fights Marquez again. If Pac wins again then that's the time he must move up at WW with no catch weight against either Cotto or Mosley or both. Then he can retire.

pac/cotto can still be made at 147lbs. just do the weigh-in on the same day as the fight. this way, cotto won't have a big advantage over pacman.

Cotto should refuse to take the fight if it's below 147. He has no business fighting down at 140 or even near there anymore. He was killing himself to make 140 against Malignaggi and that was 3 years ago now. Pac fought De La Hoya at 147 so why not Cotto? The only excuse would have to be that he knew De La Hoya would be shot trying to make a weight he hadn't made in 6 years and that he or his people don't believe he can beat a real prime welterweight. I for one believe he has a good chance to do so and become the 1st 7 division champ (assuming Cotto wins against Clottey). I would not fault Cotto at all if he refuses to fight below 147.
