I'm sure if he told Manny what to do he would do it and tell Arum the deal. Pac is the commodity and Freddie knows this. Arum has less influence over Pac than Freddie does....Arum probably sees Pac less than 10 times per year while Freddie sees him 300 days or more out of the year.

Why should Pacquiao have to keep going up in weight to beat guys when he is the top dog. Hatton was even considered bigger than him. some fighter will actually be near 20 lbs heavier than him on fight night. I think Cotto can make 142. He's never looked "ripped" he's always got a bit of chub to spare.

Mayweather can easily make 142 or even 140. I know he can. Looks like he only walks around at like 150.

I know why they're doing this, but I can't agree with it. I didn't agree with it when Floyd asked to do catchweights, didn't agree with it when Morales asked Pac for a catchweight, didn't agree with it when DLH fought Forbes at a catchweight,

and I'm not feeling it now.

There are weight classes for a reason.

Fight in them, or don't go up in weight.

On that note, I can see it being very hard for the welters to get down to 140, but the whole point of pound for pound, imo at least, is being able to beat the best in any division, not made up ones.
