I'm pretty sure Oscar said pretty much the same thing, that some of the first punches Pacquiao landed put him in a daze and he was unable to recover.

How people want to discredit Hatton for losing to arguably two of the best fighters of our era and ONLY those two, yet now he's a bum? I don't subscribe to that nonsense. If anything, the man had balls for stepping up to the plate and risking it all to be regarded as the pound for pound best. Some "champions" never do that in their entire career.

Ricky wasnt being disrespectful of manny but he was down playing many of manny's accomplishments & strengths. Ricky was a bit cheeky during fight interviews about manny & his chances. I dont wanna have to list what he said, but he was a bit cheeky.

Had Manny and Hatton both been closer to the ring post, he would have done a repeat from his last fight

I was hoping it would be more something like this the second time around

I agree, Ricky Hatton was a great champion, and a respectable person. He does not deserve to be disrespected. He didn't do all the talkin smack, the talk he made was just about being confident. I am filipino and die hard PACQUIAO FAN, RICKY my hats off to you, whether you retire or fight on you've been a great role model in the business of boxing and will always be remembered as a warrior and a champion...

That's because Oscar was drained and weak.

Hatton's punch resistance was shot after his loss to Mayweather. Even Freddie Roach admitted this, which is why he was confident of a early KO win for Pacquiao.

"Hatton was not the same after his loss to Mayweather, he took something out of him which is why he was on shaky legs against Lazcano" - Freddie Roach

Also, for those that are interested, check out the Hitman's greatest hits video here below, and tell me this man wasn't a FIGHTER. Was he the best pound for pound? No. He was a badass fighter in his time though. Watch the savage left hook to the body in action. Few did it better than he could.... enjoy.

Even Freddie Roach admitted that Hatton was not the same fighter. I guess you just have to deal with the truth, no matter how it hurts you.

Here, why don't you suck on this.
