Let's not forget that, while Roach may have said Floyd took something out of Hatton, he didn't say he took everything. One more thing -- Roach said Hatton could definitely still pull the trigger and is a dangerous fighter. I see you conveniently left out that quote, though.

Did Torrecampo and Singsurat take something out of Pacquiao when they KO'd him? Did Collazo take something out of Hatton before Floyd got to him? Who knows. Let's not make any excuses, though.

Its okay, the floyd fluffers are just all hot & bothered that Pacquiao is getting press, respect, admiration, that fraud jr never got. I mean fraud jr's last 2 opponents were rick & oscar & pac just made his wins look pedestrian. He thought his announcement was gonna overshadow the fight, ahahahaha, even his ko of hatton got one upped.

He really has. Pacquiao makes Floyd look irrelevant, to be honest.

Didn't sound anything like an excuse to me. He said what anybody who is quite emotional would say who has allot of self belief and has been a fighter for 20 years. I don't think you would understand that anyways though.

One thing for sure though is that there's only one draw like Ricky Hatton.

                  Knock out!

Its true that he never recovered! All that training from sr went out the window the minute the bell rang. Mark my words ricky will be back against marquez when he loses to floyd jr. That fight will be called something like atonement!

I think ricky should fight a couple tune ups first to get his defense game up

Hatton can still punch, but he can't take a punch anymore, which is why Freddie Roach said "Mayweather took something out of him which is why he was on shaky legs against Lazcano". Anyone with decent reading comprehension would come to the conclusion that the "something" he was referring to was obviously his punch resistance, since he was on "shaky legs" as a result of that "something" being gone after his loss to Mayweather.

A fighter with Hatton's style, one who takes a punch to give a punch, with no punch resistance is reduced to a C grade fighter, a train wreck waiting to happen as soon as the first flush punch lands, which is why Roach said the fight should end very early.

It was proven in Hatton's fight after Floyd, when he was almost KO'd and hurt by the non-elite Lazcano two times in the fight. The BBC and SkySports said that Hatton showed significant signs of being past prime. The only reason why some people thought he was somehow rejuvenated was because of his performance against Paulie, a fighter with zero power, which is why he wasn't able to expose the deterioration of Hatton's punch resistance the way Lazcano and Pacquiao did.
