btw, I voted "unfair" for both fights.
Im saying he needs to use his head in the ring, which he does, he is probably next to Floyd one of the smartest in the ring. So Floyd may have a power advantage? Big deal if thats even the case, you cant hurt what you cant hit, Marquez then needs to use his defense more, move his head, block, whatever, but skills and smarts win fights, Marquez has been hurt at lower weights, so those guys were too big for him too? The fight is fair, nobody made Marquez sign to fight. He called Floyd's name out not only after beating Diaz, but he said Floyd's name after beating Casamayor in the ring interview also, so obviously he doesnt have too much problem with fighting Floyd.

I thought it was pretty obvious what he said..
      I know what he said,

but skills or not, when was the last time Ray was dropped 4 times against Duran, Hearns, or Hagler?

As skilled as he is, he doesn't have nearly enough to overcome the obstacles of weight the fight is going to take place which is why Floyd won't go down to 140.

is marquez really going up two full weight classes though... my understanding was that he was moving 140 to chase pac...the july fight would be 3lbs away from that...also pavlik has never competed at welter....

          SKILLS.

There isnt a 160 pounder isnt he world that I would pick over Floyd.

          Not one.
Abraham would take Mayweather's head off with a Jab.

Your question had a special condition. Let me quote you again:

I don't think you really do.

If you do, whats your take on Margarito calling Floyd out?

Note the bold text. "IF YOU DO," meaning if I thought Floyd really came back just because Marquez called him out, which I already explained to you twice now that, N-O, I do not think that is the reason (I also provided the motivation for Floyd's return) so the question is not intended to be answered by me since I didn't meet your conditions.
            Fine, special condition taken off,

            what are your thoughts now?

            Margarito called out Floyd,

            so what was the problem?

After years off fighting at 147 and higher why would he drop to 140 pounds in his comeback fight when he hasnt made 140 pounds in 5 years?

              Please explain that.

                When did JMM become unhittable?

                Pac decked him 4 times.

surely an incredibly smart fighter wouldn't touch the canvas 4 times in 2 fights.

                Or am I missing something?

                  Explain what?

That he can't make 140 even when you cats insist he can?

                  You tell me.

There was no problem. he was focused on moving towards an Oscar fight. That was the goal. Not fighting some no name one dimensional clown WITHOUT even a title belt to help him on his quest.

This has been done to death.
