Floyd doesn't 'toy' with anyone, he is all business in the ring, he even said it himself he only does what he has to in the ring to win, whether it looks good or not, he doesn't care what anyone thinks of it.

he definitely toys with them. He carried oscar in that fight and then turned it up. He did the same thing against hatton and baldomir. He toys with them and takes them in deep waters and drown em. He did with zab too who by the way is southpaw and faster than pacman.

By your logic, Floyd lost to Castillo in thier first fight since Castillo trumped Floyd in every punch stat category.

Toying is what he did to to Bruseles...not Hatton. He didn't toy with Hatton, he executed his gameplan.

It's like when a reporter asked Roy Jones - following his defeat of Ruiz - if he knew it would be that easy. Jones looked at the reporter all confused and said, "You kidding? It wasn't easy at all." Just because it looks effortless doesn't mean it was - huge difference between toying and executing.

ok, i hear u. But in my opinion he was toying with him. He didn't turn it up and throws combos to like the 7th rd. When it comes to a gameplan, u right, there is none better. But these short attention spanned people can't appreciate that. I think he would get less criticized if he attacked and went for the kill quicker. But u right, he was setting hatton up at the beginning of the fight.

Now if you're a casual fan, and u saw all 4 fights, who's fights will u be purchasing again in the future? Pacman has a much more fan friendly style, and is humble. He has the respect of the fans, and has shown that he is willing to step up to the plate and take the risks to prove he is worthy of his pfp#1 status.

So my question is: Has Pac overshadowed Floyd? I personally think so. He's a worldwide phenom. He has nike endorsments, and has been listed in forbes magazine as top 100 most influential people in the world. His following and fanbase has risen dramatically over the past few yrs, and will continue to grow. I feel Floyd senses this, and this is why he picked the night of his fight with Hatton to announce his comeback fight. He basically tried to steal Pac and Hatton's thunder, but to no avail. Pac's demolishion of Hatton was too much to be outshined by Floyd's classless antics.

As much as Floyd's fanboys want to disagree, right now Floyd needs Pac more than Pac needs Floyd.
We know you don't like Mayweather...

Double standards....Mayweather's last two were against both of the SAME guys that Pac just beat. Floyd beat those guys and he gets ZERO credit. Pac comes and fights the SAME two guys AFTER FLOYD HAD FOUGHT THEM TWO WHOLE YEARS AGO, and Pac gets ALL the credit for beating them. Thats a double standard and you guys are wearing that record out!

But I know what you are going to say, "Pac DESTORYED THEM, Mayweather RAN!"..get outta here! They have two TOTALLY different styles in the ring, so PLEASE save that arugment. They both beat the SAME GUYS, so how is the latter (Pac) GREATER than the FORMER (Floyd) when the FORMER (Floyd) did it first? A win is a win right? So how can you all discredit Floyd when he beat these two guys, but praise Manny when he did the SAME thing?

And don't think that I dont like Pac because I do, I really do. But it just kills me how you guys that you are FANS OF THE SPORT, but HATE anything that has to do with one of the BEST in the sport, Floyd Mayweather.

They need EACH OTHER, to show who the best is.

Well I don't think he started throwing combos until late because he was softening Hatton up. Reminded me of Tito-Hopkins, another masterful display.

Pac beat Hatton at his own weight. Floyd dragged Ricky up to 147, even though many of you claim Mayweather can easily get down to 140.

The DLH is even. Neither faced a decent version. DLH had been a part time fighter for years by the time Floyd faced him. Floyd outpointed him, Manny stopped him.

In both cases, Pac looked better in doing so. First by stopping DLH, then by beating Hatton at his own weight.

Pac looks better every time while Floyd stans get upset and angry that the world, not just the boxing community, is taking notice of Manny Pacquiao.
