Pernell's da man! Pernell's from my homestate of Va. I went to college with his nephew Ike Whitaker who played college football at Va Tech. Pernell's like Floyd to the 5th power.. For now Im going with Pernell, frustrating Pac's charges going away for a UD....that may change though pending how Pac does against Floyd....there's something in the water in that Hampton Roads area though Iverson, Pernell, Michael Vick, Alonzo Mourning, its like an athlete factory over there.

wtf is wrong with the ref on that fight? the fighter could of been killed.. its very obvious that the fight should have been stopped early..

No question he should have stopped it, very lucky the guy wasn't killed. I think the ref figured because Pernell was losing the fight and needed a KO to win he'd give the other guy a chance to recover. That's the only some what logical explanation I can think of, other than the ref is sadistic.

Whitaker by decision. Would be a close fight but honestly i dont think there is a fighter at lightweight or WW right now that can beat prime Whitaker he was impossible to hit!!!
