If anything I saw Pacquiao landing more counters that 2nd fight than Marquez.

Its also a testament to how vastly Pacquiao improves every fight.

That knockdown in the 3rd round was a counter. When Pacquiao staggered Marquez in the 10th....that was a counter.

When Marquez had Pacquiao wobbled in the 2nd...that was not a counter...that was offense.

When Marquez had Pacquiao reeling in the 8th....and nearly scored a 10-8 round which would have made the fight a draw...was Marquez counterpunching?? No sir....he was on the offensive.

Moral of the of the story is that Marquez did not find the blueprint to defeat Pacquiao. Morales did...when he stayed on the offensive for 12 rds.
Please watch the fight and take your pacman's shirt when doing so.. It is funny because, ovbiously, most of the guys who think MP landed more punches are phillipines.. Just look at the punchmeter or whatever that hbo punch counting thing calls.. marquez landed more on both fights, the comentators even said it, and they love pacman..

as you can see what he did to hatton while he went on the offensive. he has progressed. he may want to rethink game plan next time around. i have nothing against marquez but his fans.... marquez is a great fighter but i hate hearing excuses. marquez does have a chance but as pacquiao has progressed into an ATG, beast, boxing god, p4pking. the smaller the chances and game plans must be outright something special.....though pacquiao can get hurt and hit. he has yet to hit the canvas in some time.

Look at hatton at the weight in, he looks slim, but thats the way it its dude, every boxer does that.
Of course everybody does, but thats not the issue here is it? The issue is if Pac was cutting too much weight to where it affects his performance. I say he definitely was. Pac weighs in at 145-148 at fight nights, coming from 130 thats not good. And if you consider the extenuating circumstances before that fight where Pac also looked like a ghost at the MAB weigh-ins, and of Pac's camp stating a move to 135 against Diaz...u can see why its logical to believe that Pac was weightdrained against JMM. Pac fought him at 130 for his belts, because if Pac's history is of any indication...that is what he aims for, legacy type fights.

Hey I like JMM,and I have to give him the benefit of the doubt to where he could conceivably beat Pac. But whatever advantage he had at 130 against Pac where he was competitive but took a beating for it....is just greatly diminished at these higher weights where Pac is just lookn his strongest and fastest. And thus, your argument that Pac cant beat JMM a third time is just plain silly and naive.

Fans will be fans I guess...

a fan is a fan and you live life on marquez's nuts.

if he was so skilled how the **** does he land on the canvas 4x and doesn't even knock him down once? cong**** he came back and won most of the rounds. but do understand the score card? wait. your mexican didn't get enough education......to do the math. /end argument

opinions are opinions. if you think marquez won....you lose anyway cause it will go down pacquiao won. 145 is still fighting at welterweight. 147 is limit.

            Welterweight: Limit - 147 pounds
            LIMIT

now do your research...... /class ends
seems that Mexicans did not cause that ****

            1976 U.S. outbreak
Main article: 1976 swine flu outbreak
On February 5, 1976, in the United States an army recruit at Fort Dix said he felt tired and weak. He died the next day and four of his fellow soldiers were later hospitalized. Two weeks after his death, health officials announced that the cause of death was a new strain of swine flu. The strain, a variant of H1N1, is known as A/New Jersey/1976 (H1N1). It was detected only from January 19 to February 9 and did not spread beyond Fort Dix.[26]

President Ford receives swine flu vaccinationThis new strain appeared to be closely related to the strain involved in the 1918 flu pandemic. Moreover, the ensuing increased surveillance uncovered another strain in circulation in the U.S.: A/Victoria/75 (H3N2) spread simultaneously, also caused illness, and persisted until March.[26] Alarmed public-health officials decided action must be taken to head off another major pandemic, and urged President Gerald Ford that every person in the U.S. be vaccinated for the disease.[27]

The thread purpose was to say that marquez win a 3rd fight in my opinion, but some where the thread took another way, maybe I did that, dont remember

At one point i would have agreed with this thread but Pacquiao has improved alot his past couple of fights. Hes got power in both hands and alotta speed. The only boxer that would beat manny is mayweather.

WTF, the post was pretty unbiased, you did the same thing at the begining of the thread picking parts JMM was doing good. Now this guy does the same for Pac and even times JMM got the better of Pac and he's a Pac hugger? Your either on JMM nuts or your 13 years old. It's ok to have an opinion but don't get butt hurt when someone doesn't agree with it. and when did you win when you land more punches.
