Reason why Pacquiao would not beat JMM on a 3rd fight

So you seriously think Marquez convincingly won the last 10 rounds in both fights easily??? If anything, I could see them splitting those rounds... fact still being PacMan knocked Marquez down 3 times in the first fight and once in the 2nd. You make it sound like Pacquiao went to sleep after the 2nd rounds and never threw any punches again. Both fights were great fights for a reason, and that's because they both fought to the finish. I'm obviously a Pacquiao fan and I won't even say he won all the rounds because I actually watched the fights!
And if you wanna talk about formulas, the formula to beat Marquez is to pressure him on the ropes like Diaz did and keep doing it. As soon as Diaz got cut, he turned into a punk and stopped fighting... Diaz was just soft. Marquez didn't turn that fight around until Diaz saw that blood.Comment

JMM will be 35 -36 when he fights PAC for the 3rd time, has been through wars, lately with Diaz, not too mention with Manny twice, will be deflated after losing a UD to Floyd and suddenly getting old.
Manny is at his peak at 30, has already beaten JMM officially once, has knocked him down 4x, is now faster, smarter and more versatile and barely broke a sweat in his last three fights.
It doesn't take a genius to figure this out.
I love JMM, I think he is one the purest boxer/punchers ever and is a true warrior. A bit whiny, but that's just pride shining through in unacceptable moments. But logic says that he will lose the 3rd fight. His style of fighting has not changed and his reflexes are slipping a bit, while Manny is improving and adding more to his arsenal. Manny was better in the 2nd fight, which means he improved greatly, especially against a master boxer like JMM. A draw, a SD win, and logic dictates a more convincing win for PAC, the 3rd time.
It isn't called the sweet science for nothing.Last edited by koboy; 05-05-2009, 09:10 PM.Comment

Marquez didn't hurt him with any combinations until he cut him in the 8th, and like you said Diaz doesn't take cuts well. Just ask Nate Campbell. lol. I never saw Diaz looking hurt in the fight until he got busted open.Comment

yea i know. Both fights were razor thin and could of gone either way. Just enjoy the fights and the thought of there possibly being a third fight. I'd honestly rather see JMM/Pacquiao 3 then Mayweather/Pacquiao...because i know that Pacquiao's fight with Marquez will be more exciting and entertaining then a fight with Mayweather.Comment
