Only if he knocks out jmm in 2 rounds. pacquiao will knock out jmm in 3 rounds, so floyd needs to do better

Floyd would never fight a young world-class welterweight.

Andre Berto isn't great, but he doesn't fit the typical Floyd opponent profile: old (JMM, DLH, G. Hernandez) smaller (Hatton, JMM) shot (Hernandez, Gatti) coming off a loss (Judah) or limited (Baldomir, N'Dou).

Yes he gets credit. He's fighting a guy that gave Pac the toughest fights of his life. We still don't know if Mayweather is the same fighter, if he is he should win impressively. I'm still not putting anything past Marquez, he's a great fighter and a name of his caliber couldn't hurt anyones resume.

jmm wins a moral victory even if he loses by late round tKO.

He definately deserves credit if he beats Marquez coming off this lay-off. Not as much as if he fought some other guys out there, but it would definately be a credible win.

Very little. I mean who knows, Marquez might turn out to be really good at that weight, but still come on Floyd...

honestly he does. The size difference is noticeable and thats the only thing that makes his win slightly less impressive, But no one has ever truly beaten JMM. All his losses are debateable. If Floyd can be the first one to really beat JMM by a good margin, or even knockhim out...he deserves credit.

that's the risk you take in beating smaller guys. atleast floyd gets paid.
