Marquez on the other hand should get all the credit in the world for overcoming such a great handicap.
    1. Pacquiao was coming up 12 pounds, Marquez is comin up 7.
    2. DLH was washed up. Steve Forbes busted up his face
3.If Floyd looks like a shell of his former self Marquez doesn't get full credit

No, of course deserves no credit.

If Vitali took on a light heavyweight who just moved up, let's say Joe Calzaghe in his first fight back, would he deserve credit?

And JMM is hardly even a lightweight. He fought at 126 until he was older than Floyd, well into his 30s. He only moved up to lightweight to pursue a fight with Pacquiao...

So Mayweather is forcing a featherweight to move up to 144 to fight him. That's a ***** move!

Floyd should have been a man for once and fought Berto instead.

I give him credit.. Its not like Mayweather is a true Welterweight. Yes he's been fighting there but come on now he walks around at like 150lbs. Real Welterweights walk around much much heavier then that. And Marquez was the one that called Mayweather out. I'd rather see Mayweather fight Cotto or Mosley but this could be a great fight.

Forcing? He's hardly "forcing" Marquez. Last time i checked it was Marquez who challenged Floyd.

            Marquez called him out.

            He's just answering the call.

He's also coming down to meet Juan at a catch weight.

Most are just assuming Marquez will lose regardless what type
            of fight he puts up.

Maybe he should give Juan all of the advantages he gave Oscar
            when they fought.

I will say this, if Floyd doesn't blow out Marquez in two to three rounds,
or puts a hell of a whooping on him and let's it go twelve, it won't
            look good.

Pick on a young undefeated fighter? Who isn't a draw...Berto's people would never take that fight...

Especially since Berto and Mayweather have the same management.

Mayweather should get some credit, but not THAT much, due to the weight difference. Put it this way: JMM is the best fighter that PBF has fought, but should PBF win in dominating fashion, it still wouldn't be his best win.
