Andre Berto isn't great, but he doesn't fit the typical Floyd opponent profile: old (JMM, DLH, G. Hernandez) smaller (Hatton, JMM) shot (Hernandez, Gatti) coming off a loss (Judah) or limited (Baldomir, N'Dou).
Berto's world class? By beating who Collazo?

    He's a contender. He aint WORLD-CLASS. And I don't consider Hernandez being shot...he was undefeated at 130

And everyone knows Berto's camp would ruin Berto if they put him in their with Floyd...

why would he get the credit? he cherry picked a smaller opponent rather than someone from his own division like cotto or mosley or pacquiao!

why would he get credit for it when pacquiao who gave us a great close fight with jmm never got credit for it?

Anyone that say no is either a ***** or a straight up Mayweather hater, probably the second. Everyone that pays attention to the sport knows Marquez is a great fighter and at this very moment is considered top 5 P4P fighter and in most cases the number 2 fighter in the world. A fighter that most experts said beat Pacquaio not once but twice and if you want to argue about it thats fine but regardless if Marquez stayed on his feet he wins both fights no argument amount it. If theres one thing in the last few years we have learned is that size means **** in boxing. If the guys are about the same size its become a toss up. So you haters please explain to me how you can say he doesn't deserve credit?

I like Floyd, but hasn't JMM pretty much been dubbed a tune up? How many people get credit for a tune up?

I give him credit for it aswell as I give credit to JMM for giving him 2 good hard fights. We all know that Pac & Mayweather are on a different level. With that being said JMM deserves to be on that level too.

If Floyd wins damn near every round no it doesn't...

Mayweather should get some credit, but not THAT much, due to the weight difference. Put it this way: JMM is the best fighter that PBF has fought, but should PBF win in dominating fashion, it still wouldn't be his best win.

i really think a fight like this is whats needed after a long layoff, i would give him credit for the win because marquez is a great fighter, i also think that at this point, weight seems to be about who can drain themselves and hydrate without dying, as opposed to being in an actual weight class and walking around at that weight, if that was the case, pac, marquez and mayweather would all be sitting at welter at this point. i sincerely do not believe that marquez will be this midget against mayweather. weather 130/135 or 140 mayweather would always be the favorite against marquez.
