When will you guys realize weight really does not make that much difference

Floyd and Manny have showed us along with many other boxers whether you weigh 135 or 147 weight does not have as much as a significance in boxing as people make it to be.

A great fighter wont lose a fight because its 5 pounds above his regular weight, its just an excuse.

Let Floyd fight Pavlik at 158 then. That jump equals that JMM makes.

This is exactly correct, Ive been saying it for the longest. A pound for pound fighter should be able to go up or down at least one weight class and beat a good fighter, based on his skills alone.

floyd, pacman, toney etc are a few fighters who are so well skilled that they can get away with giving away a weight differnce but not everyone can.

dawson, izzy, marquez, calzaghe, pavlik - all good fighters but none of them can get away with the giving up as much weight as the above three do.

There is no similarity with your comparison. Just because JMM waited all these years and Floyd was man enough to come up before means nothing, you saw the pics, the measurements, they are practially the same size.

Floyd still hasn't fought any of the good fighters at 147 except gatekeepers like judah and baldy... Everyone knows judah gasses out like in 4-5 rounds against elite opposition. Why didn't floyd fight cotto, mosley, maracheato, or williams? Oh, because he hand-picks the easier opponents then his fanboys make excuses saying he is too small for the weight-class. Then stop fighting at 147 all the time and making fighters move up like Hatton who has looked horrible at that weight class against Collazo.
