I think it`s the fault of the whole Hatton Team. They were ill prepared for everything, even lack of research, and completely under-estimate Pacman. And Mayweather Sr. with all his antics even gave Hatton a false sense of confidence. Yeh all that tongue flabbing only fueled Pac and Roach to win.

      F*** that!!

      Being late during camp?

Not even walking with Ricky after the fight, and his comments?

      Seriously, f*** MW sr.

      Venting.
I thought that was shameful myself.

It did bug me a little that he didnt bother to get in the ring and see how Hatton was after he was clearly in some serious trouble. Although i can understand the scolding, Hatton didnt look like he was following any kind of game plan and just resorted to rushing in again, i was screaming at the TV for him to move his head!

I agree he should have shut his big mouth and showed him what how to fight he told him he would have no problems winning and it got him knocked out . Ithink he would have done better if he trained himself .

At least it wouldnt have been so embarassing ( i thought i would die of embarassment just watching him fight) no wonder he didnt walk out with him could you??? after that ****** rap he made up HE HAS NO CLASS AT ALL

Agree with this, especially the research part. These idiots thought Manny is sensitive to body shots and believed he's been KO'd twice by them, which is complete and utter horse ****. They also trained mainly to slip the left hand. I have been saying for months on here that the right hand will be a huge factor. Even I see this and I'm just a normal boxing fan, yet these "pro's" miss it? They are goons.

Yet another opponent underestimates Pacquiao, just like Oscar, and pays dearly for it.

Honestly if you want a fighter to listen to you you have to make him believe what you are saying. Break him down and rebuild him. In today's game big name fighters only start camp 8-10 weekes prior to the fight. The fact they do a 24/7 hurts them because for 3 or 5 days they are playing for the camera's rather then training. In Seniors' deffence to the way hatton performed I do not think 8-10 weeks is enough time to really gain someone trust and break them down. With that being said it still leaves a bad taste in my muth seeing him aprade around the ring and sign autographs and not checking on Ricky and going to the hospital with him. Leads me to believe and why not that Senior saw that during the camp it wasn't a good match with him and Hatton but decided to stick around for the 1 fight and cash in....Lefty

In fairness to Senior, he didn't merely chide Hatton. He also reminded him firmly of what to do: Keep your hands up, move your head.

Lee Beard (and Hatton himself) said that Ricky got overly excited and threw the plan out the window. That would frustrate any trainer.

its no accident floyd jr split with mayweather sr. Mayweather sr is so arrogant he's blinded by it. Good thing mayweather doesnt let his confidence cloud his boxing judgement. And this interview is a diamont.
