Hatton got KO'd by 2 #1 Fighters, Why does he need to retire?

His only 2 L's came from the best fighters on the planet at that moment. I've never been big on Hatton, I think thats clear, but he still has a lot of fight in him. He's now the SECOND best JRWW in the world. Why should the second best JRWW retire?

Cuz he can't beat the top guy at 147 or at 140. Nothin to be embarrassed about as far as losin to the top fighters in boxing, but dude got hurt bad, and shouldn't wanna go on bein a journeyman or 2nd best.

It's painfully clear that the guy just isn't that good. I mean everyone at least suspected that he wasn't elite because of his weak competition, but when he gets BRUTALLY KO'd each time he steps up, and he's on the wrong side of 30, it's time to to hang them up.

He just doesn't have what it takes, he's a tough, likeable guy, he's just not very good.

Bradley and Ortiz beat him....right now. He can't beat a top 5 WW, I mean what is there to do for him?

What's the point of fighting at the elite stage if you can't ever be elite? He's stagnant and an absolute eye sore in the ring... unless he's getting put on his ass.

It's really up to him. He's a grown man and if he enjoys doing, who am I to deny him that.

I know a guy who's been knocked out at least 20 times, but he gets that glint in his eye when he gets another fight . He always thinks he will win and sometimes he does. (about 50% of the time)

Lot's of guys, 1000's of guys are not number 1 and never will be, but they don't quit because they love it.

If he does, who am I to tell them what to do?

Without all these journeyman, gatekeepers, and past prime guys, who on earth are the up and comers gonna fight?

The way he was knocked out. But his resume @140 wasn't really the greatest. Division was weak until recently.Since Bradley got his title from Witter I've been saying he would beat Hatton. I'd like to see him one more time against Witter in England. Yes his only losses are to #1 P4P guys that doesn't mean nobody else couldn't take him out as well.

Hatton's goal was to become #1 P4P. He couldn't do it at 147 or 140, so what's the point carrying on?

you need to remember what he's stepping up to. The two best fighters on the planet.
