It's definitely not better to get knocked out in round 2. Ricky was just rushing in towards Pacquiao and was catching the majority of his punches so I don't think the extra rounds would have helped. It would have put Hatton in more danger.

I just don't know what Hatton's game plan was. To me it didn't appear there was one. Either way, I like both of those guys, and I still like Hatton. Ricky has lost twice to the "pound for pound" best, but he has beaten eveyone else. I still don't think anyone else at junior welterweight could beat him.
