There are plenty fighters who have better resumes than Manny. Evander Holyfield, George Foreman, Roy Jones, the list goes on...he would surpass RJJ if he beat Floyd tho.
You're leaving out his best win which was the first fight with Barrera. Remember that? Barrera, a top five pound for pounder in his prime? And Pacquiao didn't just barely win, he steamrolled him. Like Jones-Toney or Mayweather-Corrales. Or worse. So let's not forget that. Years later he stops arguably the best 140lber in two rounds. Not stopped, I meant KHTFO. Everything else you refer to in your post is **** that happened in between all that. Oh, and by the way, he was already a two-division champ when he met Barrera.

And you think there's no way he would make it into the top 10 by beating Floyd? Really? Maybe a victory over Froch would for you?

The mere fact that you started this thread and are offering resistance to the idea is something. Some are going to resist it but it will be inevitable.

One win doesn't make you an all time great. Take away Barrera and Morales and his resume is fairly good. SRL beat Benitez, Duran and Hearns in their prime. Morales wasn't in his prime. Leonard also beat Hagler although both were on the downside...

Your forgetting DLH and Hatton and Marquez and Ledwaba, and many more. The fact that you think they are drained or shot or this or that is of no consequence.

Think? Roach himself knows DLH was a zombie. Any1 with eyes knows that wasn't a fresh DLH. He did nothing in there. I said Hatton was a good fighter and Marquez very good.

                  You know what I said...

Well no one is arguing that Pacquiao is better than Leonard should he beat Floyd. That's for another debate--Leonard is a top ten all-timer IMO. And I see no reason why Manny wouldn't be either if he handed Floyd his first defeat. That would be two MONSTER wins on his resume. How many more do you need? Notice how you had to use Leonard - a top ten all-timer - to counter? Then you look at the rest of the Pacquiao's dossier. It's extensive...dude, this guy was the flyweight champ. FLYWEIGHT. What other flyweight could beat a prime HOF champ at featherweight? And then dispatch the consensus top junior welter in two? Methinks you're pulling a Hatton and underestimating Pacquiao.
